Nourredine Yagoubi (born 8 January 1974 [1] ) is an Algerian judoka.
Yagoubi represented Algeria at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney and the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens. In Sydney he competed in the Men's 73 kg weight category. Yagoubi's first bout was against Kouami Sacha Denanyoh of Togo, this bout Yagoubi was the victor. In the second round of competition, Yagoubi faced eventual silver medalists Tiago Camilo of Brazil, this bout Yagoubi lost but he was later put through to the repechages. Yagoubi's first repechage bout was against Israel's Gil Offer and Yougabi won, proceeding to the next round. In his second repechage bout, Yagoubi lost to Michel Almeida of Portugal, and this was his final bout of the Games.
At the 2004 Summer Olympics Yagoubi participated once more in the Men's 73 kg weight category. Yagoubi won his first bout against Akapei Latu of Samoa 1111–0000. But in the second round he was paired up to Ukraine's Gennadiy Bilodid, this bout Yagoubi lost 0000–1000. This time round Yagoubi didn't proceed through to the repechage rounds.

Ricardo Blas Jr. is a judoka from Guam who competed at the 2008 and 2012 Summer Olympics. The son of Ricardo Blas, himself a judoka and Olympic competitor, Blas Jr. began training at the age of five and eventually earned the nickname "The Little Mountain" due to his weight. He entered the heavyweight event at the 2008 Games on a wild card selection as the Oceania bronze medalist, losing all his bouts in both the main and repechage stages of the competition. He participated again at the 2012 edition and was eliminated in the second round of the tournament. At 218 kg (481 lb), he is the heaviest person to have competed at the modern Olympic Games.

Kim Sung-Bum is a South Korean judoka, who competed in the men's heavyweight category. He is a two-time Olympian, and four-time medalist at the Asian Judo Championships. He defeated Iran's Mahmoud Miran for the gold medal in the open weight division at the 2006 Asian Games in Doha, Qatar. Kim also captured two more medals for the same division at the 2003 Summer Universiade in Jeju City, and at the 2007 Summer Universiade in Bangkok, Thailand.
Mohamed El Assri is a Moroccan judoka, who played for the middleweight category. He won a total of five medals for his division at the African Judo Championships. He also captured a silver medal in the 66 kg class at the 2009 Mediterranean Games in Pescara, Italy, losing out to Greece's Ilias Iliadis.
José Vicbart Geraldino Rosello is a judoka from the Dominican Republic, who competed in the men's middleweight category. He picked up a total of thirteen medals in his career, including six from the Pan American Judo Championships, and represented his nation Dominican Republic in the 90-kg class in two editions of the Olympic Games. Coming from a sporting pedigree, Geraldino also shared the same sport with his older brother Jose Augusto, who competed in the 100-kg division at the 1996 and 2000 Summer Olympics. As of March 2018 he was ranked #9 in the world in the U73 kg division. He was a member of the Israeli team that won a bronze medal at the Tokyo Olympics. Butbul will represent Israel at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris in judo in the men's 73 kg event on 29 July 2024, and in the mixed team event.
