Ricardo Blas Jr. is a judoka from Guam who competed at the 2008 and 2012 Summer Olympics. The son of Ricardo Blas, himself a judoka and Olympic competitor, Blas Jr. began training at the age of five and eventually earned the nickname "The Little Mountain" due to his weight. He entered the heavyweight event at the 2008 Games on a wild card selection as the Oceania bronze medalist, losing all his bouts in both the main and repechage stages of the competition. He participated again at the 2012 edition and was eliminated in the second round of the tournament. At 218 kg (481 lb), he is the heaviest person to have competed at the modern Olympic Games.
Chika Yagazie Chukwumerije is a male taekwondo practitioner from Nigeria. The son of Nigerian politician Uche Chukwumerije, Chika first drew attention in 2003 during the qualifiers for the 2003 All-Africa Games, where he eventually won a bronze medal in the Heavyweight Male category. He qualified for the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, but lost his first bout to Pascal Gentil, the eventual bronze medal winner. Nevertheless, after a period of intensive training that was funded by his father, he became one of Nigeria's best chances for a medal at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. He won a gold medal at the 2007 All-Africa Games in the +80 kg class and qualified for the 2008 Olympic Games soon after. Although he lost to eventual silver-medal winner Alexandros Nikolaidis in the semifinals of the +80kg event, he was entered into the repechage round of the tournament. Here, after defeating Akmal Irgashev of Uzbekistan he claimed a bronze medal in the event, Nigeria's third medal of the tournament. Four years later he competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics, but did not make it past his first bout.

Kristopher Moitland Cabezas is a two-time Olympic taekwondo practitioner, and a multiple-time Pan American Championship medalist from Costa Rica. Moitland first competed at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, where he was eliminated in the heavyweight division, after being defeated by France's Pascal Gentil, who eventually won the bronze medal, during the quarterfinal match, the S Class International Olympic Referee Dr. Mohamed Riad Ibrahim was the Referee of this match. At his second Olympics in Beijing, Moitland improved his tactics and strategies to kick and fight against every opponent in the men's heavyweight category (+80 kg). In the first round, he fought against Korea's Cha Dong-Min, who made his debut at the Olympics. Neither one of them received any points in the first period, until Moitland received two warnings by the judges, and was eliminated from the competition. Because his opponent advanced further into the final round, Moitland automatically qualified for the repechage bout, where he lost to Uzbekistan's Akmal Irgashev by just a single point.
Hamed Malekmohammadi Memar is an Iranian former judoka, who played for both the lightweight and half-middleweight categories. He won the silver medal for the men's 81 kg class at the 2008 Asian Judo Championships in Jeju City, South Korea, losing out to South Korea's Kim Jae-Bum.
Juan Carlos Jacinto Jiménez is a Dominican judoka, who played for the extra and half lightweight categories. He won the bronze medal for the 60 kg class at the 1999 Pan American Games in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
Richard Leon Vizcaya is a Venezuelan judoka, who played for the lightweight category. He won two bronze medals for the 73 and 81 kg classes at the 2006 Pan American Judo Championships in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and at the 2008 Pan American Judo Championships in Miami, Florida.
Amin El-Hady is an Egyptian judoka, who played for the half-lightweight category. He is a two-time Olympian and a five-time medalist at the African Judo Championships. He also captured a silver medal for his division at the 2007 All-Africa Games in Algiers, Algeria, losing out to the host nation's Mounir Benamadi.
Bajrang Punia is an Indian freestyle wrestler, who competes in the 65-kg weight category. At the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, Punia won a bronze medal by defeating Kazakhstan's Daulet Niyazbekov with a 8–0 margin. Punia is the only Indian wrestler to win 4 medals at the World Wrestling Championships.
José Vicbart Geraldino Rosello is a judoka from the Dominican Republic, who competed in the men's middleweight category. He picked up a total of thirteen medals in his career, including six from the Pan American Judo Championships, and represented his nation Dominican Republic in the 90-kg class in two editions of the Olympic Games. Coming from a sporting pedigree, Geraldino also shared the same sport with his older brother Jose Augusto, who competed in the 100-kg division at the 1996 and 2000 Summer Olympics. They also have a younger brother called Jose Antonio which competed internationally as well in the 90-kg class.
