The Now Tour is a concert tour by American R&B singer Maxwell, in support of his multi-platinum selling album Now . The tour started in North America on August 13, 2001, in New York City at the Irving Plaza with additional dates through October. The itinerary included multiple dates in Washington, D.C., Atlanta and Chicago. [1]
Before the release of Maxwell's album, the singer performed an intimate show on August 6 in Detroit for the second of a series of small-venue dates to promote his anticipated next album Now, which is due out August 21. Seven of the 11 songs Maxwell and his 10-piece band performed during his one-hour "open rehearsal"—in front of a capacity crowd of 1,000 at St. Andrews Hall—came from the album, including the epic love ballad "Lifetime", a version of Kate Bush's "This Woman's Work", and the upbeat encore "Get To Know Ya." [2] Maxwell scheduled to perform seven concert dates in New York City between August 13 through the 25, with J Records new artist Alicia Keys as supporting act.
Alicia Keys will join soul man Maxwell for a 25-date, 14-city tour that kicks off August 13 in New York. Keys is touring behind her Songs in A Minor , her first album, which debuted at #1 on the Billboard albums chart. [3] Throughout the tour, more dates were added in several cities across the U.S. [4] with two final shows in December. Maxwell resumed touring in 2002, planning a mini summer tour in the U.S. [5]

Alicia Augello Cook, known professionally as Alicia Keys, is an American singer and songwriter. A classically trained pianist, Keys began composing songs when she was the age of 12 and was signed by Columbia Records at the age of 15. After disputes with the label, she signed with J Records to release her debut studio album, Songs in A Minor (2001). Met with critical acclaim and commercial success, the album sold over 12 million copies worldwide and won five awards at the 44th Annual Grammy Awards. It contained the Billboard Hot 100-number one single "Fallin'." Her second album, The Diary of Alicia Keys (2003) was met with continued success, selling eight million units worldwide and spawning the singles "You Don't Know My Name", "If I Ain't Got You", and "Diary". Its release earned an additional four Grammy Awards.
Gerald Maxwell Rivera, known mononymously as Maxwell, is an American singer, songwriter, and record producer. He rose to prominence following the release of his debut studio album Maxwell's Urban Hang Suite (1996), which received widespread acclaim and spawned the hit singles "Ascension " and "Sumthin' Sumthin'". Through the album and its follow ups, Maxwell has been cited—along with Lauryn Hill, D'Angelo, and Erykah Badu—for ushering in the neo soul movement and its sensibilities into mainstream popular music during the late 1990s.

From August to October 2001, Keys toured alongside American singer and songwriter Maxwell in the United States. The tour concluded on August 30, 2002 in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
Piano & I: A One Night Only Event with Alicia Keys, commonly referred to as Piano & I, was a promotional concert tour by American singer and songwriter Alicia Keys. The tour commemorated the tenth anniversary of Keys' debut album, Songs in A Minor (2001), which Keys re-released in late June 2011, with unreleased tracks, live performances, remixes and a documentary. The tour consisted of five concerts in Paris, London, New York City and Los Angeles. BLACKsummers'night Tour is a tour by American R&B singer Maxwell. The tour was in support of his platinum hit album BLACKsummers'night. The trek kicked off on June 17, 2009, in Grand Rapids, Michigan throughout North America. The tour continued during the fall with a second U.S. run in September, and additional dates added throughout Europe, his first tour there in 11 years.

It was released on November 22, 2012, being Keys' first release with RCA Records following Sony Music Entertainment's decision to close J Records during a company reshuffle. The album is an R&B album with elements of different musical styles, including rock, electro, reggae and hip hop. It features a largely minimalist production, includes piano-driven songs and balances traditional R&B with atypical chords and melodic changes.

The Alicia + Keys World Tour was the sixth concert tour by American singer and songwriter Alicia Keys in support of her seventh and eighth studio albums Alicia (2020) and Keys (2021). This is Keys' first global tour since her 2013 Set the World on Fire Tour. The tour started on June 9, 2022, at the Utilita Arena in Birmingham, England, and is set to conclude on May 19, 2023, at the Telmex Auditorium in Mexico, South America, after 59 concerts in 20 countries and 3 continents. Recordings from the concerts in São Paulo, Buenos Aires, Santiago, Bogotá and Mexico City were released as digital live albums. The tour earned nearly $35 million dollars from 51/59 shows in 2022. Keys performed 8 shows as part of the Latin American leg in 2023.
