OX4_ The Best of Ride is a compilation album by the British band Ride, released in 2001 by Ignition Records in the United Kingdom. The album was also released as the first disc in the three-disc Ride Box Set, which also included Firing Blanks_ Unreleased Ride Recordings 1988-95 and Live at Reading Festival 1992. The American edition was released by The First Time Records in 2002 and included a second disc with four of the unreleased tracks from Firing Blanks. The title is a reference to the band's local Oxford postcode in their teenage years.

Fear of a Blank Planet is the ninth studio album by British progressive rock band Porcupine Tree and their best selling before 2009's The Incident. The Neil Young Archives is a longtime project by singer-songwriter Neil Young. Live Reading Festival 1992 is a recording of Ride's main stage set at the 1992 Reading Festival on Saturday 29 August. It was released as the third disc of the 2001 Box Set along with OX4 The Best of Ride and Firing Blanks: Unreleased Ride Recordings 1988–95.

Laurence John "Loz" Colbert is an English musician, best known as the drummer in Ride and formerly of The Animalhouse, The Jesus and Mary Chain, Supergrass and Gaz Coombes. His drumming style has been characterized as furious drawing comparisons to Keith Moon.
