Oasen Storsenter is a shopping centre in Norheim in Karmøy, Norway. In 2014 it had a turnover of 688 million Norwegian kroner. It has 65 stores in 33,000 m² of building space (18,500 m² of commercial space). In addition to this there are 28 services within health and well-being.
After Karmøy was founded as a result of merging several municipalities in 1965, a fairly large part of the new municipality was located on the mainland, and within a few years became the quickest growing part of Karmøy. Unlike the various villages on the island proper, the mainland lacked a centralized area for shops and businesses. Oasen Storsenter opened as the first one in the region in 1977. During the first year the shopping centre only had 6000 m² available, but this was expanded to 10,000 m² in 1978, with further expansions in 1985, 1996, 2002 and 2014.
Oasen Storsenter was bought by Olav Thon in 1998 for 160 million kroner. [1]
Today the shopping centre spans three floors, with shops in the basement and first floor and a gym and various health services on the second floor.

Vormedal is a village in Karmøy municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. The village is located about 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) south of the city of Haugesund in Western Norway. It sits on the mainland along the Karmsundet strait, directly across the strait from the village of Avaldsnes on the island of Karmøy. The 1.28-square-kilometre (320-acre) village has a population (2014) of 2738, giving the village a population density of 2,139 inhabitants per square kilometre (5,540/sq mi).
Spencer Plaza is a shopping mall located on Anna Salai in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, and is one of the modern landmarks of the city. Today, the area of Torvastad refers to the northern part of the municipality of Karmøy.

Lagunen Storsenter is owned by Nordås Industrier AS and managed by the Olav Thon Group.

Strømmen Storsenter is a Norwegian shopping centre located in Strømmen, just outside Oslo, Norway.
Oslo City is one of the largest shopping centres in central Oslo, Norway. The shopping centre was built in 1988, and is visited by c. 50,000 people a day – 16 million a year. It generated gross revenues of 1,444 billion Norwegian kroner in 2005. It has 26,000 m² of commercial space, with 93 stores on five floors.
Farsund Hospital was a local hospital situated close to the town centre of Farsund in Norway. It closed in 2007 and the municipality bought the property in December 2008. It has been disused since.
Nordsjøfly A/S was an airline which operated from 1977 to 1983 out of Haugesund Airport, Karmøy. Based in Avaldsnes in Karmøy, Norway, the airline used a mix of aircraft to operate scheduled and charter flights. It was started at the time of Haugesund Airport opening and commenced a taxi route service to Bergen and Stavanger, at first using the Piper PA-31 Chieftain and a Beechcraft 99 Queenliner.
Kvitsøy Vessel Traffic Service Centre, commonly abbreviated Kvitsøy VTS, is a vessel traffic service and pilot dispatch station situated on the island municipality of Kvitsøy in Norway. Its main responsibility is handling traffic headed to the gas terminal at Kårstø, as well as the entire coast between Bømlafjorden and Jærens rev. This includes Boknafjorden.
Norheim is a village in Karmøy municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. The village is located along the Karmsundet strait immediately south of the town of Haugesund, just over the municipal border inside Karmøy. The village lies along the European route E134 highway and on the eastern end of the Karmsund Bridge which connects Norheim to the island of Karmøy.
