Season chronology |
The sixth season of Objetivo Fama ran from February to May 2009. The season featured a panel of judges that included returning judges Roberto Sueiro and Hilda Ramos, and newcomer judge, singer Abraham. He replaced Fernando Allende. At that time, it was the final season, being dubbed as Objetivo Fama: La Despedida. It was hosted by Puerto Rican singer Gisselle.
In 2019, producer Soraya Sanchez announced that a new season of the show would be produced for 2020 to mainly feature Urbano music, Reggaeton and Trap. [1]
Auditions were held in several towns and cities of Puerto Rico.
Out of each audition, a group of 16 contestants were selected. Like the first season, this will feature only Puerto Rican contestants.

Pop Idol was a British music competition television series created by Simon Fuller which ran on ITV from 2001 to 2003. The aim of the show was to decide the best new young pop singer in the UK based on viewer voting and participation. Two series were broadcast, one in 2001–2002 and a second in 2003. Pop Idol was subsequently put on an indefinite hiatus after series judge Simon Cowell announced the launch of The X Factor in the UK in April 2004.
Idols is a television show on the Dutch television network RTL 4, which is part of the Idols series based on the popular British show Pop Idol. The show is a contest to determine the best young singer in the Netherlands.
Singapore Idol is a reality television singing competition created by Simon Fuller and produced by MediaCorp Studios and FremantleMedia Operations BV. It began airing on MediaCorp Channel 5 on 9 August 2004, as an addition to the Idol franchise based on the UK show Pop Idol, and became one of the most popular shows in the history of Singaporean television.
Ídolos was a Brazilian reality television competition to find new solo singing talent. Part of the Idol franchise, it was created by Simon Fuller as a spin-off from the British show Pop Idol, of which two series were broadcast between 2001 and 2003.

Rock Star: Supernova is the second season of the reality television show Rock Star. The show, hosted by Dave Navarro and Brooke Burke, featured 15 contestants competing to become the lead vocalist for a newly formed supergroup featuring Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee, former Metallica bassist Jason Newsted, and former Guns N' Roses guitarist Gilby Clarke.
The sixth season of American Idol premiered on the Fox Broadcasting Company as a two-night, four-hour premiere special on January 16 and January 17, and ran until May 23, 2007. Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul, and Randy Jackson returned to judge once again, and Ryan Seacrest returned as host. A new record of 74 million votes were cast in the finale round, and a new record of 609 million votes were cast in the entire season. Jordin Sparks won the competition with Blake Lewis as the first runner-up and Melinda Doolittle finishing third. Jordin Sparks is also the youngest winner of the competition, winning at age 17, as well as the first winner from outside the Southern United States. Sparks remained the last female winner until the twelfth season.
Latin American Idol was the Spanish American edition of the popular British franchise of Idols, well known for its American version American Idol. The show aimed to discover the pop idol of the Latin American region. The show was filmed in Buenos Aires and was transmitted to over 23 nations in the region via the Sony Entertainment Television network.
Desafío de Estrellas is a Mexican musical show produced and distributed by TV Azteca, the second most important network in the country. The format of the Desafío is similar to American Idol with contestants eliminated every week and a grand finale with the top contestants competing to win the first place prize. TV Azteca has, until 2006, produced two versions of the program, one in 2003 and the other in 2006. The 2003 version consisted only of former contestants of La Academia, another TV Azteca-produced show which had already garnished two seasons and, in the process, taken away rating from Televisa, the prime network of the country. The 2006 version, on the other hand, consisted of both former contestants of La Academia, as well as other artists produced by TV Azteca in the middle and late '90s, later in 2009 a third season took place with former contestants of the six seasons of la academia.
The fourth season of Objetivo Fama began on February 3, 2007, with a pre-show in Los Angeles, California where they announced the final 20 contestants out of 30 semi-finalists. The season officially started on February 10. The judges were Roberto Sueiro, Hilda Ramos, and Fernando Allende. The show was hosted again by Mexican singer Yuri.
The seventh season of American Idol, the annual reality show and singing competition, began on January 15, 2008, and concluded on May 21, 2008. Ryan Seacrest continued to host the show with Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul, and Randy Jackson returning as judges. David Cook was announced the winner of the competition on May 21, 2008, defeating runner-up David Archuleta by a margin of roughly 12 million votes out of over 97 million, which was at that time the highest recorded vote total in the show's history. The split was 56 to 44%.
The debut season of One in a Million premiered on 26 May 2006 and was aired on 8TV. It was aired until the grand finale held on 22 September 2006. The inaugural season was won by Suki Low Sook Yee with Faizal Tahir coming in as first runner-up and Muhammad Alif bin Mohd Satar coming in third place.
One in a Million is Malaysia's first ever reality singing competition to offer a RM 1 million prize to the winner. The second season began on 16 November 2007, resuming to its former timeslot at 9:30 pm on 8TV. The season had been marred by a restriction imposed on 8TV against airing live telecasts, as a result of season one's runner-up Faizal Tahir breaching the decency code during 8TV's birthday concert on mid-January 2008. Nevertheless, the show went on and on 29 February 2008, in a Grand Finale which was aired delayed by 30 minutes from Shah Alam, Sabahan Norayu Damit became the overall champion and new owner of RM1,000,000 as funding for a musical career.
The fifth season of Objetivo Fama officially began on February 9, 2008. It was hosted by Yuri. It featured returning judges Roberto Sueiro and Fernando Allende, while Mexican singer Jimena replaced Hilda Ramos.
Kokhav Nolad 7 is season 7 of an Israeli reality television competition aimed at finding new solo singing talent. It debuted on May 24, 2009, and was broadcast twice a week, ending August 30, 2009.
Yo Canto is a Puerto Rican singing talent contest that started airing in 2011 on WKAQ-TV, the Telemundo outlet in Puerto Rico. It is produced by Soraya Sánchez, who previously produced the similar show Objetivo Fama, and Beatriz Oliveros. In contrast to Objetivo Fama, Yo Canto features singers from all ages, and contestants can participate as a group or duo.
Ídolos Brazil 6, also taglined as Ídolos 2011 is the sixth season of Brazilian reality interactive talent show Ídolos and fourth season aired on Rede Record. It premiered on Tuesday, April 5, 2011.
Ellona Rano Santiago is a Filipino-born American singer from San Lorenzo, California. She was a contestant on American television show The X Factor. In season 1, she was a part of the ten-member group InTENsity mentored by Paula Abdul which came in 12th place. Santiago returned in season 3, where she was mentored by Demi Lovato and placed 6th overall out of 16 finalists.
