Ocean Andrew is an American politician and businessman serving as a member of the Wyoming House of Representatives from the 46th district. Elected in November 2020,he assumed office on January 4,2021.
Andrew was born and raised in Wenatchee,Washington. He is the son of Shaun Andrew,an owner of Alaskan Leader Fisheries,which operates one of the largest long line fishing fleets in America. [1] He earned an Associate of Arts and Sciences from Wenatchee Valley College and a Bachelor of Science degree in energy resource management and development from the University of Wyoming. [2]
In 2011,Andrew began working as a commercial fishing deckhand in Naknek,Alaska. He also worked as a skid-steer loader operator. After working as a lift driver for Walmart in Cheyenne,Wyoming,Andrew opened a fish and chip food truck in Laramie. [3] [4] [5] In 2021 he invited Florida Congressman Matt Gaetz to speak in Cheyenne against Liz Cheney's vote for the Impeachment of Donald Trump. [6]

Fish are often caught as wildlife from the natural environment,but may also be caught from stocked bodies of water such as ponds,canals,park wetlands and reservoirs. Fishing techniques include trawling,longlining,jigging,hand-gathering,spearing,netting,angling,shooting and trapping,as well as more destructive and often illegal techniques such as electrocution,blasting and poisoning.
Elizabeth Lynne Cheney is an American attorney and politician. She represented Wyoming's at-large congressional district in the U.S. House of Representatives from 2017 to 2023,and served as chair of the House Republican Conference—the third-highest position in the House Republican leadership—from 2019 to 2021. Cheney is known for her vocal opposition to Donald Trump. As of March 2023,she is a professor of practice at the University of Virginia Center for Politics.

Incumbent Republican Cynthia Lummis decided to retire instead of seeking a fifth term. Liz Cheney was elected to the seat to succeed Lummis.

Cynthia Lummis defeated Democrat Merav Ben-David by more than 46 percentage points,becoming the first female U.S. Senator from Wyoming and succeeding fellow Republican Mike Enzi,who did not run for reelection. This was the first open Senate seat since 1996,when Enzi was first elected. The Democratic and Republican party primary elections were held on August 18,2020. This was the first time since 1996 that Democrats won any county for this seat. Enzi died aged 77 on July 26,2021,from injuries in a bicycle accident,less than seven months after his retirement from the Senate.
