Oceanococcus is a Gram-negative genus of bacteria from the family of Ectothiorhodospiraceae with one known species ( Oceanococcus atlanticus ). [1] [2] [3] [4] Oceanococcus atlanticus has been isolated from deep sea sediments from the Atlantic Ocean. [4]
