By-elections are scheduled to be held in Pakistan on 14 October 2018 and 21 October 2018. These elections will be held on twelve constituencies for the National Assembly of Pakistan and twenty-seven constituencies belonging to four provincial assemblies of Pakistan namely Provincial Assembly of Punjab, Provincial Assembly of Sindh, Provincial Assembly of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Provincial Assembly of Balochistan. Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif is a Pakistani politician and businessman who served as the 23rd prime minister of Pakistan, in office from April 2022 to August 2023. He is the current president of the Pakistan Muslim League (N) (PML-N). Previously in his political career, he served as the Chief Minister of Punjab three times, making him the longest-serving Chief Minister of Punjab.
Khawaja Saad Rafique is a Pakistani politician who had been a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan from October 2018 till August 2023 and the federal minister for Railways.
NA-54 Rawalpindi-III is a constituency for the National Assembly of Pakistan.
NA-97 Faisalabad-III is a constituency for the National Assembly of Pakistan. In addition to the areas of the former NA-77, the constituency represents all of Tandlianwala Tehsil apart from the town of Mamu Kanjan, which is in NA-104.

Mian Mehmood ur Rashid is a Pakistani politician who was the Provincial Minister of Punjab for Housing, Urban Development and Public Health Engineering, in office from 27 August 2018 till 28 March 2022. He had been a member of the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab from August 2018 to January 2023. Previously he was a Member of the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab from 1988 to 1993 and again from May 2013 to May 2018. He served as Leader of Opposition in the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab from June 2013 to May 2018
Sardar Ali Amin Khan Gandapur is a Pakistani politician who was the former Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan, from 5 October 2018 to 10 April 2022. He had been a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan from August 2018 till January 2023.
PS-111 Karachi South-V is a constituency of the Provincial Assembly of Sindh.
Bilal Yasin is a Pakistani politician who had been a member of the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab from August 2018 till January 2023. He had been a Member of the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab and an ex-cabinet member, from June 2013 to May 2018. He had been a Member of the National Assembly of Pakistan from 2008 to 2013. In December 2021 Bilal was shot, and both suspects were arrested.
Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo is a Pakistani politician who served as the Chief Minister of Balochistan province of Pakistan from 29 October 2021 till 18 August 2023. He was a member of the Provincial Assembly of Balochistan. He is a President of the Balochistan Awami Party.
NA-195 Larkana-II is a newly-created constituency for the National Assembly of Pakistan. It mainly comprises the Dokri Taluka, Bakrani Taluka, and some areas of the Larkana Taluka, which includes a portion of the city of Larkana. It was created in the 2018 delimitation after the constituency overlapping between Qambar Shahdadkot District and Larkana District was ended.
NA-196 Qambar Shahdadkot-I is a newly-created constituency for the National Assembly of Pakistan. It mainly comprises the Qubo Saeed Khan Taluka, Shahdadkot Taluka, Sijawal Junejo Taluka, and Miro Khan Taluka. It was created in the 2018 delimitation after the constituency overlapping between Qambar Shahdadkot District and Larkana District was ended.
NA-197 Qambar Shahdadkot-II is a newly-created constituency for the National Assembly of Pakistan. It mainly comprises the Nasirabad Taluka, Warah Taluka, and Qambar Ali Khan Taluka. It was created in the 2018 delimitation after the constituency overlapping between Qambar Shahdadkot District and Larkana District was ended.
Mian Khalid Mehmood is a Pakistani politician, the Provincial Minister of Punjab for Disaster Management from 13 September 2018 through 30 April 2022. He was a member of the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab from August 2018 till May 2022.
Syed Firdous Shamim Naqvi is a Pakistani politician who served as the Leader of the Opposition in the Provincial Assembly of Sindh from 24 September 2018 to 8 January 2021. He had been a member of the Provincial Assembly of Sindh from August 2018 to August 2023. He has served as a member of the Core Committee of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf since 1996. He has also served from 2015 to 2019 in the Karachi Municipal Corporation as Union Council Chairman for UC-18 Karachi East.
Usman Dar is a Pakistani politician who was Special Adviser to the former Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan on Youth Affairs. He was in office from 3 December 2018 till his resignation from the parliament on 10 April 2022. He also held the position of Chairman of the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme during his term.
PK-94 Orakzai is a constituency for the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan.It was created in 2018 after merger of FATA with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa before 2019 elections. This constituency covers entire Orakzai District.
PK-103 North Waziristan-I is a constituency for the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan.It was created in 2018 after merger of FATA with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa before 2019 elections. This constituency covers Eastern parts of North Waziristan.
PK-96 Kurram-II is a constituency for the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan.It was created in 2018 after merger of FATA with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa before 2019 elections. This constituency covers Western parts of Kurram District.
PK-20 Bajaur-III is a constituency for the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan.It was created in 2018 after merger of FATA with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa before 2019 elections.
