Okyereko is a town near Winneba Junction in the Gomoa East District in the Central Region of Ghana. [1] [2] [3] [4] It is located along the Kasoa-Winneba road on the Cape Coast-Accra Highway. [5] [6]

The N1 or National Highway 1 is a national highway in Ghana that begins at the border with Ivory Coast at Elubo and runs through Sekondi-Takoradi, Cape Coast, Winneba, Accra and Tema to the border with Togo at Aflao. It is the main highway along the coast of the country, with a total distance of 540 kilometers. The route runs through the Western, Central, Greater Accra and Volta regions of Ghana.

The district council was located in the southeast part of Central Region and had Winneba as its capital town.

The Gomoa Onyaadze Solar Power Station is an operational grid-connected 20 megawatts (27,000 hp) solar power plant, in Ghana. The privately owned power station sells its power to the Power Distribution Services Ghana (PDSG), formerly Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG), under a long-term power purchase agreement.

BXC Solar Power Station, also Onyandze Solar Power Station, is an operational 20 megawatt solar power plant in Ghana. The solar farm was developed, financed and is owned and operated by Beijing Xiaocheng Company, a Chinese independent power producer (IPP). The power station, commercially commissioned in April 2016, was the largest grid-ready IPP solar farm in Ghana, at that time. The energy generated at this power station is evacuated via a high voltage transmission line to a substation at Winneba Roundabout, where it enters the national grid.

Nyanyano is a community in the Gomoa East District in the Central Region of Ghana. It is located about 20 km south-west of Accra and about 6 km south of Kasoa.

Bewadze is a community on the Kasoa-Cape Coast highway in the Gomoa West District in the Central Region of Ghana. Vegetables are produced in the community.
