Old Bear and Friends is a popular series of children's books written by British author and illustrator Jane Hissey. The books became the basis for a BAFTA award-winning television series Old Bear Stories .

Plot

The animals in the playroom have remembered that Old Bear disappeared long ago. He was put into the attic to protect him from the children's rough play, and with the children being older now, the animals rescue him and bring him back down to the playroom. He becomes the most respected toy and guides the others in their many adventures. Splash, published in 2003, was the first book where the toys leave the house and garden.

Old Bear Stories is a BAFTA award-winning stop frame animation television series for children based on the Old Bear and Friends books by Jane Hissey. Jane Hissey also created the television series, starting it on 24 September 1993, and creating 3 seasons, which ended on 24 December 1997 with a double-length Christmas special. In all, 41 episodes were made.

Giggle and Hoot was an Australian children's television "wrap-around" program that aired on the ABC Kids channel. The series was produced from 2009 to 2019, with the final episodes airing in 2020, and depicted the adventures of Jimmy Giggle and his best friend, Hoot the Owl. It also aired on ABC from 2009 to 2011. In later seasons, they were joined by a second owl called Hootabelle along with other friends and their toys.

<i>Zoobles!</i> (TV series) Korean television series

Zoobles! is an Anime series based on the toys of the same name by Spin Master and Sega Toys. Produced by Dong Woo Animation in Korea, the series is written by Tetsuo Yasumi, best known as the head writer of the anime adaptation of Happy Happy Clover with Japanese producer Mitsuko Ohya of Duel Masters in charge of production. Character designs in the series were done by Nam Jong-Sik of Animal Yokochō and Kazuya Hayashi of Happy Happy Clover.

Wide-Eye is an animated children's television series set in fictional Natterjack Forest. The series consists of a series of ten-minute episodes and is about a wise, old owl who lives in a tall tree with his young son, Little Hoot, and his energetic sidekick, Flea.

Everything’s Rosie is broadcast on CBeebies in the UK and internationally across 160 territories.

Ruff-Ruff, Tweet and Dave is an interactive animated children's television series which premiered in the United Kingdom on CBeebies in 2015. Hulu acquired the streaming rights in 2016. Production ceased on new episodes when Universal Kids stopped developing original shows in 2019.

Goldie & Bear is an American animated children's television series which began on September 12, 2015. The show was created for Disney Junior by Jorge Aguirre and Rick Gitelson. It was directed by Chris Gilligan and produced using CGI animation. It featured songs by Rob Cantor and score by Greg Nicolett and Gregory James Jenkins. Season one was produced by Milk Barn Animation and lasted from September 12, 2015 to August 15, 2016. The show was renewed for a second season in 2016, which was produced by Titmouse, Inc, that ran from September 18, 2017 to October 1, 2018.

<i>Poppy Cat</i> (TV series) British television series

Poppy Cat is a British preschool animated television series, which first aired on 2 May 2011 and last aired on 5 February 2016. It is based on a series of books created by British illustrator and writer Lara Jones, and is a co-production of Coolabi Productions, King Rollo Films, Ingenious Media, and Cake Entertainment for Nick Jr. and Channel 5.
