Order of Merit and Management (Persian : نشان لياقت و مديريت) is an Iranian state expertise order established by "Council of Iran Ministers" in November 21, 1990. The order has three classes, and awarded by President of Iran. According to Article 9 of the Regulations on the Awarding of Government Orders of Iran, the Order of Merit and Management is awarded to people who achieve "an exceptional success in management, distinguished activities, aiding the oppressed and deprived people and/or beneficiary use of utilities and/or offering exquisite ways". The National Medals of Appreciation and Memorial is an honor bestowed by the President of Iran to individuals who have made important contributions to the advancement of knowledge in various fields of science or have lost their lives defending the country. The presidential Committee on the National Medals is responsible for selecting award recipients and is administered by the Presidential Office.
The Excellent Order of the Islamic Republic is Iran's state decoration of honour, established by "Council of Iran Ministers" on November 21, 1990. According to Article 5 of the Regulations on the Awarding of Government Orders of Iran, the Order of the Islamic Republic is awarded by the President of Iran to the heads and other officials of foreign countries, the highest executive of international organizations, or to prominent cultural, political, international characters recognized in any of the following respects:
The Excellent Order of Independence is an Iranian state order, established by "Council of Iran Ministers" on November 21, 1990. According to "Article 3" of the "Regulations on the Awarding of Government Orders" of Iran, the "Order of Independence" is awarded by President of Iran to recognize "taking important offices and playing a key role in achieving high goals of the Islamic Republic of Iran with all–lateral effort in enlightening positions, distinguished innovations to reach self–sufficiency and independence in different aspects, saving the government from potential threats, helping global proliferation of Islamic revolution principles and other valuable services in critical and decisive periods of time".
Order of Service is an Iranian state general order. For the first time, it was established and awarded during the Pahlavi dynasty and during the reign of Reza Shah. After Iranian Revolution it was re-established by "Council of Iran Ministers" in November 21, 1990. The order has three classes.
