Nasum was a Swedish grindcore band from Örebro, formed in 1992. The band released four studio albums and developed into "one of that country's premier metal acts". They disbanded after the December 2004 tsunami killed the band's frontman, Mieszko Talarczyk.
Calculating Infinity is the debut studio album by American metalcore band The Dillinger Escape Plan. Recorded at Trax East Recording Studio in South River, New Jersey, it was produced by engineer Steve Evetts with the band's guitarist Ben Weinman and drummer Chris Pennie, and released on September 28, 1999 by Relapse Records. The album is the band's only full-length album to feature original vocalist Dimitri Minakakis, who left the band in 2001.
Leng Tch'e is a Belgian grindcore band. The band describes their style as "razorgrind", a combination of grindcore with death metal, stoner rock and metalcore. The band's name is an alternate romanisation of "língchí", a method of torture and execution originating from Imperial China that is also known as "death by a thousand cuts". Death by a Thousand Cuts is also the name of one of the band's albums.
Relapse Records is an American independent record label based in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania. It was founded by Matthew F. Jacobson in 1990. The label features many grindcore, death metal, metalcore and sludge metal artists.

Into the Moat is an American mathcore band from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. It achieved national acclaim when profiled in Alternative Press magazine in November 2003. The band signed with Metal Blade Records, which released both of their full-length albums, and completed four national tours during 2004 and 2005.
Burst was a Swedish progressive metal band from Kristinehamn, Sweden, active between 1993 and 2009. They were formed in 1993 by Jesper Liveröd, Linus Jägerskog and Patrik Hultin, with guitarists Robert Reinholdz and Jonas Rydberg joining later. Their label, Relapse Records, labelled them one of Sweden's brightest metal prospects.
Shift is the fourth and final studio album by the Swedish grindcore band Nasum. It was released on October 26, 2004, by Burning Heart Records in Sweden and on Relapse Records in North America. Two months after this album was released, Mieszko Talarczyk died during the 2004 tsunami, resulting in the disbanding of Nasum.
Coldworker was a Swedish deathgrind band, formed in early 2006. The band signed a deal with Relapse Records in June 2006, and since then released three studio albums, the debut The Contaminated Void, in November 2006, followed by Rotting Paradise, in May 2008, and The Doomsayer's Call in February 2012. The band split up in July 2013.
Cauldron is a Canadian heavy metal band formed in 2006 in Toronto, Ontario, following the break up of Goat Horn, with guitarist Brandon Wars leaving to form a new band, Zuku. Cauldron consists of Jason Decay on vocals and bass guitar, Ian Chains on guitar and Myles Deck on drums.
The Roundhouse Tapes is a live double album by Swedish progressive metal band Opeth. The CD was recorded on 9 November 2006 and was released on 23 October 2007 in the US, on 5 November in Europe, and on 20 November in the rest of the world. A two-disc DVD version was released on 10 November 2008, and includes exclusive menu music written by Mikael Åkerfeldt and Per Wiberg. The title is a play on the name of Iron Maiden's first release The Soundhouse Tapes, as well as the venue where the record was recorded. Åkerfeldt said, "The Roundhouse concert will always be a very memorable gig for us for many reasons, but most importantly it caught the band at the peak of the Ghost Reveries tour". This is the final Opeth release with Peter Lindgren.

Jucifer are a two piece American sludge metal band whose albums have been released by Alternative Tentacles, Capricorn Records, and Relapse Records along with their own imprint Nomadic Fortress Records. The band's members are Gazelle Amber Valentine on lead guitar and vocals, and her husband Edgar Livengood on drums. Jucifer is notable for the extreme volume at which they perform, and the gigantic wall of amplification used for Valentine's guitar, as well as the dichotomy that has existed between much of the recorded material and their live shows. They are also notable for incessant touring beginning in the mid-1990s. In 2000 Jucifer moved into an RV and became completely "nomadic in nature", preferring to tour constantly, living in their tour vehicle, rather than following the normal practice of album release/tour/time at home.
Lazarus Bird is the fifth and final full-length album by Swedish progressive metal band Burst, released on September 16, 2008 by Relapse Records. It features lengthier songs than the albums before it, averaging 7.5 minutes per song. It also exhibits a more experimental nature than any of Burst's previous records.

Kiss the Pig is the seventh album by Today Is the Day, released on June 29, 2004 through Relapse Records. Lyrically, the album takes inspiration from the presidency of George W. Bush and the Iraq War. Steve Austin wrote most of the album after a live performance the band played with Slayer in Japan. The same show is where the group met Japanese charcoal artist Takanami Kazuhiko, whose painting titled Evileyes was chosen for the album's cover before recording even began.
Windhand is an American doom metal band formed in Richmond, Virginia in 2008. Currently signed to Relapse Records, Windhand released their most recent album, Eternal Return, in October 2018.
