Otabek Shukurov (born 22 June 1996) is an Uzbek professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Saudi Pro League club Al Fayha and the Uzbekistan national team. [1]

Career

Shukurov joined FK Mash'al Mubarek in 2014 and made his league debut against PFK Metallurg Bekabad on 21 June 2014. On 1 January 2015, he moved to FC Bunyodkor but he played only 2 league games in there, so he transferred to FK Buxoro on 15 July 2015. He had successful season in FK Buxoro by playing 14 games and scoring 2 goals and returned to FC Bunyodkor on 1 January 2016. [2] [3]

Kayserispor

On 6 February 2024, it was announced that they had reached an agreement with the Turkish team Kayserispor and the agreement was signed on 9 February 2024. [4] [5]

Al Fayfa

Uzbekistan national team midfielder Otabek Shukurov will continue his activities in Asia.

The 28-year-old player moved from Kayserispor of Turkey to Al Fayha of Saudi Arabia. [6] [7]

International career

Shukurov has represented his country at various age groups. He made his Uzbekistan national football team debut against Lebanon on 14 February 2016. In that match, Uzbekistan won by a score of 2–0.

The 2011 season was Bunyodkors 5th season in the Uzbek League, which the finished as champions for the 4th time. They also competed in the 2011 Uzbekistan Cup getting knocked out in the Semi-final stages by Nasaf Qarshi. The participated in the 2011 AFC Champions League, reaching the Last 16 stage before losing to Sepahan of Iran.

The 2012 season was Bunyodkors 6th season in the Uzbek League in Uzbekistan, and they also competed in the Uzbekistan Cup and the AFC Champions League. Bunyodkor reached the Semi-Finals of the AFC Champions League before being beaten 5–1 on aggregate by Ulsan Hyundai of South Korea.

Also Bunyodkor youth team won 2013 Uzbek Youth League. Bunyodkor also competed in the AFC Champions League, reaching the Round of 16 stage before being knocked out by Buriram United of Thailand.
