OutNebraska is a Nebraska statewide LGBTQ advocacy, lobbying, and community organization.
A Lincoln LGBTQ community organization was incorporated as Outlinc in 2009. [1] It expanded to a statewide organization and changed its name to OutNebraska in 2019. [2]
OutNebraska sponsors the Prairie Pride Film Festival, which has brought independent films on LGBTQ themes to Nebraska since 2010. [3]
OutNebraska hosts birdwatching events in warm weather months. Let's Go Birding Together ("LGBT") events are a partnership with Spring Creek Prairie Audubon Center. [4]

The Inside Out Film and Video Festival is an annual Canadian film festival, which presents a program of LGBT-related film. The festival is staged in both Toronto and Ottawa.
The lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) people in the Philippines have a distinctive culture in society and also have limited legal rights. Gays and lesbians are generally tolerated in Filipino society, especially with the recent events that promote the rights, general acceptance and empowerment of the community, but discrimination remains. Paula Louise Ettelbrick was an internationally acclaimed lawyer, educator, and pioneer of the LGBTQ equality movement. She served as director for Lambda Legal, National Centre for Lesbian Rights, the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force, the International Gay and Lesbian Human Rights Commission, and led the Stonewall Community Foundation.
The ongoing 2019–20 coronavirus pandemic has had a significant impact on the LGBT community. More than 220 pride celebrations around the world have been canceled or postponed, as of April 3, 2020. Global Pride, an online event with numerous national hosts, has been scheduled for June 27, 2020.
