Out the Box is the second studio album release by Puerto Rican singer-songwriter Jean and was released on December 9, 2008, in digital-only format by Sony BMG. The album consists of ten tracks, five of them in English and another five translated in Spanish.
According to Jean's MySpace profile, the purpose of the album's unique format (with five English songs and five Spanish-translated songs) was to appeal more to the American audience, both English and Spanish-speaking people. The album was released in digital-only format, and sold on the iTunes Store, Rhapsody and Microsoft's Zune Marketplace in three different formats. The standard version is sold on Rhapsody, another version is sold on iTunes with two bonus tracks, and another version is sold on the Zune Marketplace with two other different bonus tracks. [1]
Although Jean has been signed to a major record label since 2006, both On and Out the Box have received very little promotion, and promotion for the albums depend solely online mainly through MySpace and iTunes. On January 20, 2008, however, two of the album tracks, "Stop the Clock" and the Spanish version "Peligro de Extinción" were released on iTunes as both the "Single of the Week" and the "Canción de la Semana" (Song of the Week). Zune was a brand of digital media products and services that was marketed by Microsoft from November 2006 until it was discontinued in June 2012. Zune consisted of a line of portable media players, a music subscription service known as Zune Music Pass plus Zune Marketplace for music, TV and movies, streaming services for the Xbox 360 game console, and the Zune software media player for Windows PCs which also acted as desktop sync software for Windows Phone.
Esta Es Mi Vida is the debut album by duo Jesse & Joy, consisting of siblings Jesse and Joy Huerta. The album was released by Warner Music Mexico on August 22, 2006. The album debuted at number 22 on Mexican Top 100 Album Chart and peaked at number 7. The Asociación Mexicana de Productores de Fonogramas y Videogramas (AMPROFON) certified the album as Platinum for selling more than 100,000 copies in Mexico. Aries is the ninth studio album by Mexican recording artist Luis Miguel. It was released by WEA Latina on 22 June 1993. After attaining commercial success in 1991 with his previous album, Romance, Luis Miguel decided to return to a style similar to his earlier work, featuring pop ballads and dance numbers with R&B influences. The record was produced by Miguel, who was assisted by Kiko Cibrian, Rudy Pérez, David Foster, and Juan Luis Guerra.
Nada Es Igual is the eleventh studio album by Mexican recording artist Luis Miguel. It was released by WEA Latina on 20 August 1996. The album has a musical style similar to his previous pop album Aries (1993) on which Miguel performs power ballads and R&B tunes. Recording took place at the Record Plant Studios in February 1996, with production handled by Miguel and his longtime associate Kiko Cibrian. Its songwriting was assisted by Cibrian, Rudy Pérez, and Alejandro Lerner. The album was promoted by three singles: "Dame", "Cómo Es Posible Que a Mi Lado", and "Que Tú Te Vas"; the former became the most successful single reaching number two and number one on the Billboard Hot Latin Songs and Latin Pop Songs charts, respectively. To further promote the recording, Miguel launched the Tour America 1996 where he performed in several South American countries.
América & en Vivo is a live extended play (EP) by Mexican singer Luis Miguel. It was released on 25 September 1992 by WEA Latina. The EP consists of three live versions of "Inolvidable", No Sé Tú", and "Contigo en la Distancia" from his performance at the National Auditorium in Mexico during his Romance Tour on June 26, 1992, as well as a new track "America, America", originally performed by Nino Bravo. "America, America" was released as a single and peaked at number 20 on the Billboard Hot Latin Songs chart. The EP was rated three out of five stars by an editor on AllMusic and received a positive review from Mario Taradell of the Miami Herald, who praised his vocals and the production of the EP. América & En Vivo peaked at number 12 on the Billboard Latin Pop Albums chart and was certified platinum in Argentina by the Argentine Chamber of Phonograms and Videograms Producers (CAPIF).
Asleep at Heaven's Gate is the third album by American indie rock band Rogue Wave. It was released to average reviews on September 18, 2007. It was produced by Roger Moutenot. "Lake Michigan", the first single from the album, was featured in a TV commercial for Microsoft's second-generation Zune music players, and was included on the original soundtrack of The Secret Life of Walter Mitty. "Electro-Socket Blues" is a bonus track and can be found on the UK release of the album, whilst “The Show”, “I Can Die", "Electro-Socket Blues", and “All You Need Is Love”, are all available on the remastered and expanded version of the album, which can be found on iTunes. “Chicago x 12” is also featured in the eighth season of Scrubs in the episode “Their Story II”.
Peligro is the fourth studio album from Mexican Latin pop group Reik, released on July 5, 2011, through Sony Music Latin. According to the band, the album has a more aggressive, experimental and electronic sound than their previous productions.
Musa(English: Muse) is the eighth studio album by Puerto Rican reggaetón singer-songwriter Ivy Queen. It was released through Siente Music on August 21, 2012 in all formats. The tracks on the album were composed by Queen and various other songwriters, including: Victor Delgado, Hiram Cruz and Francisco Saldaña. The album was produced by Luny Tunes, Noriega, Predikador, and DJ Nelson among others. "Peligro De Extinción" (English: Danger Of Extinction) is a Latin pop song by Puerto Rican reggaetón recording artist Ivy Queen, from her eighth studio album, Musa (2012). It was composed by Queen, Francisco Saldaña, and Víctor Delgado, produced by Noriega alongside the help of Predikador and released as the lead single off the album on March 24, 2012. The recording gained mainly positive to mixed reviews from critics, many praising the use of Edison Rey's accordion in the song. Lyrically, the song talks about how she doesn't want to be in danger of extinction, and that if there are no Romeos to sing to Juliets that the Juliets will take the role of the Romeos.
Caramelito (Candy) is the title of a studio album released by Spanish performer Rocío Dúrcal on 6 May 2003 by BMG Ariola. Produced by Colombian songwriter Kike Santander. The album was nominated for a Latin Grammy Award for Best Female Pop Vocal Album at the 2004.

La Fuerza is the first solo and Spanish-language extended play (EP) by American singer Christina Aguilera. It was released through Sony Music Latin on January 21, 2022 as the first part of her ninth studio and second Spanish-language album Aguilera (2022). It is her second EP, following her promotional EP, Justin & Christina (2003), with Justin Timberlake. While recording her ninth studio album in Miami in early 2021, Aguilera decided to release the album in an unconventional way, by releasing it in three separate parts. La Fuerza was the first part of the trilogy. The EP is centered around female empowerment and strength and features guest vocals from Becky G, Nicki Nicole, Nathy Peluso, and Ozuna.

The nominations were announced via a virtual livestream on September 20, 2022, presented by Kany García, Christina Aguilera, Banda Los Sebastianes, Becky G, Yotuel, Criolo, Nicky Jam, Akapellah, Luísa Sonza, Sebastián Yatra and Camilo. The three-hour ceremony aired live on Univision and was hosted by singers Anitta, Luis Fonsi, Laura Pausini and Thalía.
