Owjabandan (Persian : اوجابندان‎, also Romanized as Owjābandān; also known as Ojābandān)^[1] is a village in Nowkand Kola Rural District, in the Central District of Qaem Shahr County, Mazandaran Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 110, in 29 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is a pluricentric language primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Nowkand Kola Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in the Central District of Qaem Shahr County, Mazandaran Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 25,941, in 6,870 families. The rural district has 31 villages.
