Ana Luisa Flôr Moura is a Portuguese badminton player from the Club Sports Madeira. Moura was the National Junior champion in the girls' singles and doubles event in 2004, and also in the girls' singles, doubles and mixed doubles event in 2005. At the National senior championships, she won once in the women's singles, three times in the women's doubles and two times in the mixed doubles event. In 2007, Moura won the singles title at the Iran and Algeria International tournaments, and in the doubles event at the Ecuador and Mauritius International tournaments. In the same year, she competed at the 2007 BWF World Championships in the women's singles, and was defeated in the second round by Xie Xingfang, of China, 21–2, 21–7. Moura also qualified to compete at the Beijing 2008 Summer Olympics, but she was defeated by Jeanine Cicognini of Switzerland in the first round with the score 21–9, 21–13. Ana Moura is back on court. At the season 2018/2019 she is playing at Secção de Badminton - Associação Académica de Coimbra.
Jwala Gutta is an Indian badminton player. Beginning in the late 1990s, she represented India at international events in both mixed and women's doubles. She has a total of 316 match wins in both the disciplines—the most by any Indian—and peaked at no. 6 in the world rankings. Gutta has won medals at numerous tournaments on the BWF circuit including a silver at the 2009 Superseries Masters Finals and a bronze at the 2011 World Championships.

Zhao Yunlei is a mixed and women's doubles badminton player from China. She graduated with a BA from Huazhong University of Science and Technology. She is the first and only badminton player to have ever won two gold medals in the same Olympic edition, winning in both the mixed and women's doubles categories in 2012. Zhao joins the ranks with nine other players with two Olympic gold medals, the highest number of gold medals won by any badminton player. Through her performance at the 2014 and 2015 BWF World Championships, she became the first player to win two gold medals in two consecutive BWF World Championships.

In the individual event, Lohau also won the bronze medals at the 2010 World Junior Championships in the mixed doubles, 2011 European Junior Championships in the mixed and girls' doubles, and at the 2018 and 2021 European Championships in the mixed doubles. Pullela Gayatri Gopichand is an Indian badminton player. She is the daughter of former badminton players P. V. V. Lakshmi and Pullela Gopichand. She was part of the national team that clinched the women's team gold medal at the 2019 South Asian Games, and a silver in the women's singles. She also competed at the 2022 Commonwealth Games, winning a silver in the mixed team and a bronze medal in the women's doubles. Gopichand became the first woman Indian doubles specialist to make the semi-finals of All England Open 21 years after her father's feat.
Ashmita Chaliha is an Indian badminton player. Born and brought up in Guwahati, she began playing badminton at the age of seven, and trained at the Assam Badminton Academy under Indonesian coach Edwin Iriawan and India’s Suranjan Bhobora, she was also coached by Pullela Gopichand for the Asian Games. Chaliha was also a part of the national junior team that competed at the 2017 World and Asian Junior Championships. She has been selected to be part of the Indian team for the 2018 Asian Games in Indonesia. Chaliha won her first senior international title at the 2018 Dubai International Challenge in the women's singles event. She was the gold medalists at the 2019 South Asian Games in the women's singles and team events.
Julie Claire MacPherson is a Scottish badminton player who competes in international level events both for Scotland and Great Britain. She affiliates with club SV Fun-Ball Dortelweil She has won the Scottish National Championships seven times in the women's doubles and five times in the mixed doubles. She also part of team Scotland that won the bronze medal at the 2020 European Women's Team Championships.
