Paige Conners (born 9 April 2000) is an American-Israeli pair skater. With her skating partner, Evgeni Krasnopolski, she is the 2017 CS Minsk-Arena Ice Star bronze medalist. She competed for Israel at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Figure Skating in pairs skating and a team event in Pyeongchang, South Korea.
Conners was born on April 9, 2000, in Pittsford, New York, United States, the daughter of Karen (a reading teacher) and Mark Conners (a dentist) [1] [2] [3] Her mother, who is from Buffalo, has Israeli citizenship. [4] [5] She later moved to Edgewater, New Jersey. [6] She has dual American-Israeli citizenship. [6]
Conners began learning to skate in 2003. [1] Representing Israel in ladies' singles, she placed 27th at the 2017 World Junior Championships in Taipei, Taiwan. She was coached by Galit Chait, Gilberto Viadana, and Michela Boschetto. [7]
Switching to pair skating, Conners teamed up with Israel's Evgeni Krasnopolski in March 2017. [4] The pair decided to train in Hackensack, New Jersey, coached by Galit Chait and Anton Nimenko. [1]
Making their international debut, Conners/Krasnopolski placed 5th at the 2017 CS U.S. Classic in September. Later the same month, they placed 8th at the 2017 CS Nebelhorn Trophy, the final qualifying opportunity for the 2018 Winter Olympics. Due to their result, Israel received a spot in the Olympic pairs event. In October, the two won the bronze medal at the 2017 CS Minsk-Arena Ice Star.
In November 2017, Conners/Krasnopolski were named in Israel's Olympic team. [8] [9] In January 2018, they finished 9th at the 2018 European Championships in Moscow, Russia.
She competed for Israel at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Figure Skating in pair skating (coming in 19th) and a team event in Pyeongchang, South Korea. [10]

Galit Chait is an Israeli former competitive ice dancer. She and her partner Sergei Sakhnovski competed internationally for Israel from 1995 to 2006, becoming the 2002 World bronze medalists.

Gennadi Viacheslavovich Krasnitski (Vanisyan) (Russian: Геннадий Вячеславович Красницкий (Ванисян), 7 September 1968) is a former Soviet pair skater. He is a two-time (1986, 1987) World Junior champion with partner Elena Leonova.
Alexandra "Sasha" Zaretsky is an Israeli retired ice dancer. With her brother Roman Zaretsky, she is the 2009 Skate America bronze medalist, 2009 Golden Spin of Zagreb champion, a three-time Nebelhorn Trophy medalist, and a three-time Israeli national champion. They finished as high as sixth at the World Championships and competed twice at the Winter Olympics, finishing tenth in 2010.
Roman Zaretsky is an Israeli retired ice dancer. With his sister, Alexandra Zaretsky, he is the 2009 Skate America bronze medalist, 2009 Golden Spin of Zagreb champion, a three-time Nebelhorn Trophy medalist, and a three-time Israeli national champion. They finished 6th at the World Championships and competed twice at the Winter Olympics, finishing 10th in 2010.
Evgeni Krasnopolski is a Ukrainian-born Israeli retired pair skater. Krasnopolski and Andrea Davidovich were the first pair representing Israel to qualify for Israel at the 2014 Olympics. They finished 15th in Sochi. Krasnopolski competed with Danielle Montalbano from 2009 to 2012. He competed for Israel at the 2018 Winter Olympics with Paige Conners in figure skating in pairs skating and a team event in Pyeongchang, South Korea. He and Hailey Kops competed at the 2021 CS Nebelhorn Trophy and qualified to compete for Israel at the 2022 Winter Olympics.
Alexei Bychenko is a retired Ukrainian-born Israeli figure skater. He represented Ukraine through 2009 and Israel after that. He is the 2016 European Figure Skating Championships silver medalist and 2016 Rostelecom Cup bronze medalist. He is the first Israeli skater to medal at the European Championships. He placed fourth at 2018 Worlds. Bychenko competed for Israel at the 2014, 2018, and 2022 Winter Olympics.
Anton Valeryevich Nimenko is a Russian figure skating coach and former competitor. As a pair skater with Milica Brozović, he is the 1998 Nebelhorn Trophy bronze medalist and a four-time medalist on the ISU Junior Grand Prix series. They also competed at two World Junior Championships.
Israel has participated at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, which occurred from February 12–28, 2010. This was the fifth time Israel took part in the Winter Olympics. The Israeli delegation consisted of alpine skier Mykhaylo Renzhyn and ice dancing duo Alexandra Zaretsky and Roman Zaretsky. Tamar Katz qualified, but the Israeli National Olympic Committee (NOC) did not permit her to compete. They did not bring home a medal during these Olympics.
Danielle Montalbano is an American-born former figure skater who competed for Israel. As a single skater, she is the 2014 Israeli national champion and 2014 Toruń Cup silver medalist. From 2009 to 2012, Montalbano competed in pair skating with partner Evgeni Krasnopolski. They medaled at four international events, including at the Golden Spin of Zagreb and Ice Challenge.

Samohin is one of the few skaters to have landed two quad jumps in a short program, three quads in a free program, and five quads in one competition. He was a member of the Israeli delegation to the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea.
