The 2017 CS U.S. International Figure Skating Classic were held in September 2017 in Salt Lake City, Utah. It was part of the 2017–18 ISU Challenger Series. [1] Medals were awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dance.
The International Skating Union published the list of entries on 21 August 2017.

The 2010 Skate America was the fourth event of six in the 2010–11 ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating, a senior-level international invitational competition series. It was held at the Rose Garden Arena in Portland, Oregon on November 11–14. Medals were awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing. Skaters earned points toward qualifying for the 2010–11 Grand Prix Final.
The 2014 World Junior Figure Skating Championships was an international figure skating competition in the 2013–14 season. Commonly called "World Juniors" and "Junior Worlds", the event determined the World Junior champions in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing. It was held in Sofia, Bulgaria.
The 2015 World Junior Figure Skating Championships was an international figure skating competition in the 2014–15 season. The event was held on 2–8 March 2015 at the newly constructed Tondiraba Ice Hall in Tallinn, Estonia. It determined the World Junior champions in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dance.
The 2017 World Figure Skating Championships were held 29 March – 2 April 2017 in Helsinki, Finland. The host was named in June 2014. Medals were awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pairs, and ice dancing. The event also determined the number of entries for each country at the 2018 World Championships and the 2018 Winter Olympics.
The ISU Challenger Series is a series of international figure skating competitions. Established by the International Skating Union in the 2014–15 season, it is a group of senior-level events ranked below the ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating. Each event consists of at least three disciplines out of four, and is required to take place between August 1 and December 15.
The 2017 Four Continents Figure Skating Championships was an international figure skating competition in the 2016–17 figure skating season. It was held at the Gangneung Ice Arena in Gangneung, South Korea on February 16–19. Medals were awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing. The competition served as the figure skating test event for the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang.
The 2015–16 Grand Prix of Figure Skating Final and ISU Junior Grand Prix Final took place from December 10 to 13, 2015 in Barcelona, Spain. Hosted by Barcelona for the second year in a row, the combined event was the culmination of two international series — the Grand Prix of Figure Skating and the Junior Grand Prix. Medals were awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, women's singles, pair skating, and ice dancing on the senior and junior levels. For the first time, medals were also awarded in synchronized skating.
The 2015 Ondrej Nepela Trophy was the 23rd edition of an annual senior international figure skating competition held in Bratislava, Slovakia. A part of the 2015–16 ISU Challenger Series, it was held on October 1–3, 2015 at the Ondrej Nepela Ice Rink. Medals were awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing.
