The Pakistani national cricket team toured the West Indies from March 2017 to May 2017. The tour consisted of a series of three Test matches, three One Day Internationals (ODIs) and four Twenty20 internationals (T20Is). [1] [2] [3] The West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) looked at the possibility of playing the T20I matches at the Central Broward Regional Park in Florida, as they did against India in August 2016. However, the WICB kept all the fixtures for this tour in the Caribbean. [3]

In January 2017, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) made an offer to the WICB to play two T20I matches in Pakistan. [4] They would have been held in Lahore on 18 and 19 March 2017, with the teams playing two more T20Is in Lauderhill, Florida. [4] However, when the tour fixtures were confirmed by the WICB on 12 January 2017, there was no mention of the matches in Pakistan. [3] Later the same day the WICB confirmed that the West Indies would not play in Pakistan due to security concerns. [5] Originally the tour was scheduled to contain two T20I matches, but early in March 2017, two extra T20I fixtures were added to the schedule. [6]

Ahead of the tour, Misbah-ul-Haq confirmed he would continue as captain of the Pakistan Test side, a decision accepted by the PCB. [7] In April 2017, Misbah announced that he would be retiring from international cricket at the end of the series. [8] Two days later, Younis Khan also announced that he would retire from Test cricket following the conclusion of the series. [9]

Pakistan won the T20I series 3–1, [10] and the ODI series 2–1. [11] They also won the Test series 2–1, their first Test series win in the West Indies. [12]

Misbah-ul-Haq Khan NiaziPunnu Khel(Urdu: مصباح الحق‎) is a Pakistani cricket coach and former international cricketer. Ul-haq captained Pakistan in Test cricket and One Day Internationals (ODIs). Ul-haq is the current head coach and former chief selector of the Pakistan national team.

The Bangladesh national cricket team toured Pakistan in 2003 to play three Test and five One Day International (ODI) matches. This was Bangladesh's second tour to Pakistan, with the first occurring in 2001–02, when the teams played one Test match.This series was the first international Test cricket series to be held in Pakistan after a 15-month absence due to security concerns. Younis Khan Pakistani cricket coach and former cricketer

Mohammad Younis Khan is a Pakistani cricket coach and former cricketer and captain of the Pakistan national cricket team in all three formats of the game, and is widely regarded as one of the greatest middle-order batsmen in Test cricket. Khan is the only Test cricketer in the history of the game to score a century in all 11 countries that have hosted Test matches.

The Pakistan cricket team toured India in November 2007 and played five ODIs and three Test matches between 6 November and 12 December. India won the ODI series after 24 years by 3–2 margin, while the Test series was won by a 1–0 margin.

The Zimbabwean cricket team began touring Pakistan for five One Day Internationals and a four-day tour match on 14 January. Pakistan began the tour after suffering One Day series defeats at the hands of both India and South Africa while Zimbabwe had lost a home series to West Indies prior to their arrival.

The Pakistani cricket team toured the West Indies from 18 April to 24 May 2011. The tour consisted of two Tests, one Twenty20 International (T20I) and five One Day Internationals (ODIs).

The Pakistan cricket team toured the West Indies from 14 July to 28 July 2013. The tour consisted of five One Day International and two Twenty20 International matches. The 1st Test at The Gabba in Brisbane was a day/night match played with a pink ball. In preparation for the first Test, ten matches in Pakistan's 2016–17 Quaid-e-Azam Trophy and the first round of matches in Australia's 2016–17 Sheffield Shield season were played as day/night matches. Ahead of the Test matches, Pakistan also played a first-class match against Cricket Australia XI.

Shadab Khan Pakistani cricketer

Shadab Khan is a Pakistani cricketer who plays for the Pakistan national cricket team. He was born in Mianwali, a city in northwest Punjab, Pakistan. In August 2018, he was one of thirty-three players to be awarded a central contract for the 2018–19 season by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).

The Afghanistan cricket team toured the West Indies in June 2017 to play three One Day Internationals (ODIs), three Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is) and a tour match. It was Afghanistan's first bilateral tour against a full member nation other than Zimbabwe. Originally the tour was going to consist of five ODIs and three T20Is. The West Indies won the T20I series 3–0. The ODI series was drawn 1–1 after the final match was washed out with no result.

The Sri Lanka cricket team toured the United Arab Emirates in September and October 2017 to play two Tests, five One Day Internationals (ODIs) and three Twenty20 International (T20I) matches against the Pakistan cricket team. It included the first Tests that Sarfaraz Ahmed of Pakistan captained following the retirement of Misbah-ul-Haq. The tour also featured a T20I match in Pakistan, the first time that Sri Lanka had visited the country since 2009.

The West Indies cricket team toured Pakistan in April 2018 to play three Twenty20 International (T20I) matches. Pakistan won the series 3–0. Following the conclusion of the series, Pakistan's captain Sarfaraz Ahmed said that "no team will be using security concerns as an excuse in the future. This year or the next year, (international) cricket will come back to Pakistan". The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) are hoping to play a full international series against a Full Member side in Pakistan by 2020.

The New Zealand cricket team toured the United Arab Emirates between October and December 2018 to play three Tests, three One Day Internationals (ODIs) and three Twenty20 International (T20Is) matches against Pakistan. Originally, the tour was scheduled to have three Tests, five ODIs and one T20I match.

The Pakistan cricket team toured England in May 2019 to play five One Day Internationals (ODIs) and one Twenty20 International (T20I) match ahead of the 2019 Cricket World Cup. The fixtures were part of both teams' preparation for the tournament. Three matches were played against English county sides as part of the tour, with 50-over matches played against Kent and Northants, and a Twenty20 match played against Leicestershire.

The Zimbabwe cricket team toured Pakistan in October and November 2020 to play three One Day International (ODI) and three Twenty20 International (T20I) matches. All of the matches were played behind closed doors at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. The ODI series formed part of the inaugural 2020–23 ICC Cricket World Cup Super League. Pakistan's Babar Azam captained the team for the first time in ODI cricket.

The Pakistan cricket team toured New Zealand in December 2020 and January 2021 to play two Test and three Twenty20 International (T20I) matches. The Test series formed part of the inaugural 2019–21 ICC World Test Championship. In August 2020, New Zealand Cricket confirmed that the tour was going ahead, and were working with their government to comply with biosecurity during the COVID-19 pandemic. On 29 September 2020, New Zealand Cricket confirmed the full schedule of the tour.
