The Bangladesh national cricket team toured the West Indies from August to September 2014 for a tour consisting of two Test matches, three Limited Overs International (LOI) matches and one Twenty20 International. In the previous tour by Bangladesh of the West Indies in 2009, Bangladesh "whitewashed" a weakened West Indies cricket team in both the Test and LOI series. [1]

Squads

On 24 August 2014, the West Indies Cricket Board's Selection Panel named the 14-man squad for the 3rd and final Dhaka Bank ODI against Bangladesh and also has been added all-rounder Andre Russell to their squad for the third and final One-Day International against Bangladesh in St. Kitts. Leon Johnson was added to the West Indies team for the second and final test match due to Chris Gayle's pull-out citing personal reasons. [2]

The 2018 ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifier was a cricket tournament that took place during March 2018 in Zimbabwe. It formed the final part of the Cricket World Cup qualification process for the 2019 World Cup in England and Wales. The top two teams, Afghanistan national cricket team and the West Indies, qualified for the World Cup, joining the hosts and the seven teams who had already qualified through their ranking in the ICC ODI Championship. Afghanistan won the tournament, beating the West Indies by 7 wickets in the final. Afghanistan’s Mohommad Shahzad was named the player of the match and Zimbabwe’s Sikandar Raza was named the player of the tournament.

The West Indies cricket team toured England in August and September 2017 to play three Test matches competing for the Wisden Trophy, one Twenty20 International (T20I) and five One Day Internationals (ODIs).

The Bangladesh cricket team toured the West Indies and the United States between June and August 2018 to play two Tests, three One Day Internationals (ODIs) and three Twenty20 International (T20I) matches. The tour started with two of the T20I matches played at the Central Broward Regional Park in Lauderhill, Florida. The Test series formed part of the inaugural 2019–2021 ICC World Test Championship. The fixtures were confirmed in June 2019.

The 2019 Ireland Tri-Nation Series was a cricket tournament that was held from 5 to 17 May in Ireland. It was a tri-nation series featuring Bangladesh, Ireland and the West Indies, with all the matches played as One Day Internationals (ODIs). The ODI fixtures were part of Bangladesh and West Indies' preparation for the 2019 Cricket World Cup. Bangladesh also played a 50-over warm-up match against Ireland A on 5 May 2019.

The West Indies cricket team toured Bangladesh in January and February 2021 to play two Tests and three One Day International (ODI) matches. The Test series formed part of the inaugural 2019–2021 ICC World Test Championship and the ODI series formed part of the inaugural 2020–2023 ICC Cricket World Cup Super League.

The Sri Lanka cricket team toured the West Indies during March and April 2021 to play two Test matches, three One Day International (ODI) and three Twenty20 International (T20I) matches. The Tests formed part of the inaugural 2019–2021 ICC World Test Championship, and the ODI series formed part of the inaugural 2020–2023 ICC Cricket World Cup Super League.

The Australia cricket team toured the West Indies in June and July 2021 to play three One Day International (ODI) and five Twenty20 International (T20I) matches. The ODI matches formed part of the inaugural 2020–2023 ICC Cricket World Cup Super League. The fixtures for the tour were confirmed by Cricket West Indies (CWI) in May 2021. The Australian cricket team arrived in the West Indies on 28 May 2021, after the majority players had been vaccinated for COVID-19.

The Bangladesh cricket team toured the West Indies in June and July 2022 to play two Test, three One Day International (ODI), and three Twenty20 International (T20I) matches. The Test matches formed part of the 2021–2023 ICC World Test Championship. A draft tour itinerary was announced in May 2022. The full details of the tour were confirmed on 1 June 2022.
