Pallavaram is a state assembly constituency in Tamil Nadu, India, that was formed after constituency delimitation in 2007. [1] Located in Kancheepuram district, it is included in the Sriperumbudur parliamentary constituency for national elections. [2]
It includes Pallavaram, Pammal and Anakaputhur Municipalities, Tirusulam and Pozhichalur Village Panchayats, Thiruneermalai Town Panchayat and Meenambakkam Town Panchayat (Now under Greater Chennai Corporation Zone 12).

Tambaram is a suburban city located south of Chennai, the capital city of Tamil Nadu, India, within the state's Chengalpattu district. Lying on the national highway connecting Chennai and Trichy, the Grand Southern Trunk Road, the suburb was upgraded as a corporation in 2021. The highway and the railway line between Chennai Egmore to Kanyakumari stations divide Tambaram into East Tambaram and West Tambaram.
