The Pamoja African Alliance (PAA) is a political party in Kenya. It is led by Amason Kingi. [1]

History

In May 2022, the party left Kenya Kwanza and joined the Azimio La Umoja alliance. [2] It contested the August 2022 general election and won 4 seats in the National Assembly. [3]

Amason Kingi Jeffah is the current Speaker of the Senate of Kenya. He is the immediate former governor of Kilifi County and belongs to the Pamoja African Alliance. Before his term as governor of Kilifi, Amason was elected to represent the Magarini Constituency in the National Assembly of Kenya during the 2007 Kenyan parliamentary election.

Joseph Lemasolai Lekuton is a Kenyan politician. He belongs to the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) and was elected to represent the Laisamis Constituency in the National Assembly of Kenya since the 2007 Kenyan parliamentary election and reelected in 2013.

The United Democratic Movement (UDM) is a political party that was founded in 1999 by politicians who were at the time considederd to be renegades from the then ruling party Kenya African National Union but was denied registration by the then head of state Daniel Toroitich Arap Moi and most of its then leaders went to other parties by the time of the 2002 general elections.
