Panta also promoted as Naa Panta Kano, is a 2017 Indian Kannada-language heist thriller film directed and scored music by S. Narayan. [1] It features Anup Revanna and newcomer Ritiksha in the lead. [2] The story is written by Amid and the cinematography is by Mathew Rajan. The film is a remake of Tamil film Rajathandhiram (2015). [3]

Contents

The project officially took off on 9 June 2016 and was launched by the Chief Minister Siddaramaiah in Bangalore. [4] The film was released on 23 June 2017. [5]

The film's score and the soundtrack were composed by S. Narayan. [6] Actor Sudeepa has recorded his voice for one of the songs. Initially planned to have only two songs, as a last minute addition, an item song was included in the track list and delayed the film release. [7]

Maanikya is a 2014 Indian Kannada-language action drama film directed by Sudeepa featuring himself, V. Ravichandran, Ranya Rao, Ramya Krishna, Varalaxmi Sharathkumar and P. Ravi Shankar in the lead roles. The film is a remake of 2013 Telugu film Mirchi. It was released on 1 May 2014. Fox Star Studios acquired the distribution rights to the film. The film stars Veera and Regina Cassandra. Sandeep Chowta composed the film score, G. V. Prakash Kumar composed a promo song, cinematography was handled by S. R. Kathir. The film was edited by Praveen Antony, the production designed by Videsh and action sequences were designed and choreographed by Stunt Silva. The film was released on 13 March 2015. On 13 March 2016, the team announced the launch of its sequel, Rajathandhiram 2, with a six-minute video clip on YouTube. The film was remade in Kannada as Panta (2017).

Melkote Manja is a 2017 Indian Kannada-language comedy drama film written, enacted and directed by Jaggesh. This is the third film featuring Jaggesh as Manja after Eddelu Manjunatha (2009) and Manjunatha BA LLB (2012). The film also stars Aindrita Ray and Rangayana Raghu in the lead roles. It is a remake of the 2010 Telugu film Kalavar King.

It features Shiva Rajkumar and Vidya Pradeep, making her debut in Kannada films, in the lead roles. Whilst the soundtrack and score is by V. Harikrishna, the cinematography is by Jai Anand.
