Paul Coughlin (born 23 October 1992) is an English cricketer. Coughlin is a right-handed batsman who bowls right-arm medium pace. He was born at Sunderland,County Durham,and was educated at St Robert of Newminster Catholic Comprehensive School.
Coughlin made his debut in minor counties cricket for Northumberland against Staffordshire in 2011 MCCA Knockout Trophy. [1] He also made a single appearance in that seasons Minor Counties Championship against Staffordshire. [2] During the 2012 season,Coughlin made his first-class debut for Durham against the touring Australia A team at the Riverside Ground. He ended Durham's first-innings of 197 all out unbeaten on 29,the second highest score of the innings. In the tourists first-innings of 159 all out,he took his maiden wicket,that of Michael Klinger. He was dismissed for 3 runs in Durham's second-innings of 185 all out by Jon Holland.
In September 2017,it was announced that Coughlin was leaving Durham at the end of 2017 season to join Nottinghamshire ahead of the 2018 season. [3] In June 2022,in the 2022 County Championship,Coughlin scored his maiden century in first-class cricket,scoring 100 not out against Worcestershire. [4]
In 2019,Coughlin married his long-term girlfriend,Gemma. In 2022,the couple announced the birth of their first son,Otto.

Thomas Christopher Smith is a former English cricketer who played for Lancashire County Cricket Club. He had also been a member of the England Academy team. In 2008,he played for Leicestershire on loan because he was unable to break into Lancashire's first team. He is an all-rounder,bowling right-arm medium and batting left-handed. At the start of the 2009 season,Smith was promoted to open the batting,having previously batted in the lower order,and secured his place there. In 2011,the year Lancashire won the County Championship for the first time since 1950,Smith became the first Lancashire player to score a century and take four wickets in the same one-day match. In 2011/12 Smith played for the Matabeleland Tuskers in Zimbabwe as an overseas player in the domestic twenty20 competition.

Brown made his first-class debut in 2006 and his list A debut the following year. Between 2005 and 2007,Brown played 15 Youth One Day Internationals. The 2017 Royal London One-Day Cup tournament was a limited overs cricket competition that forms part of the 2017 domestic cricket season in England and Wales. Matches were contested over 50 overs per side and had List A cricket status. All eighteen First-class counties competed in the tournament which ran from the end of April with the final taking place at Lord's on 1 July. Nottinghamshire won the tournament,defeating Surrey in the final. The defending champions were Warwickshire.
The 2020 Bob Willis Trophy was a first-class cricket tournament held in the 2020 English cricket season,and the inaugural edition of the Bob Willis Trophy. It was separate from the County Championship,which was not held in 2020 due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic in the United Kingdom. The eighteen county cricket teams were split into three regional groups of six,with the two group winners with the most points advancing to a final held at Lord's. The maximum number of overs bowled in a day was reduced from 96 to 90,and the team's first innings could be no longer than 120 overs.
The 2021 County Championship was the 121st cricket County Championship season in England and Wales. For the first phase of the tournament,the teams were split into three groups of six,with each side playing ten matches. The top two teams from each group progressed into Division One for the second phase of the competition,with the other teams progressing to Divisions Two and Three. The team that finished top of Division One became the county champions;and the top two teams from Division One contested a five-day match at Lord's for the Bob Willis Trophy. On 17 December 2020,the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) confirmed all the fixtures for the tournament. After completion of the group stage on 14 July 2021,the ECB confirmed the fixtures for the division stage on 22 July 2021.
