Joel Garner is a former West Indian cricketer,and a member of the highly regarded late 1970s and early 1980s West Indies cricket teams. Garner is the highest ranked One Day International bowler according to the ICC best-ever bowling ratings,and is 37th in Tests. Garner was a member of the West Indies team that won their second world title in the 1979 Cricket World Cup.
Courtney Andrew Walsh OJ is a former Jamaican cricketer who represented the West Indies from 1984 to 2001,captaining the West Indies in 22 Test matches. He is a fast bowler and considered one of the all-time greats,best known for a remarkable opening bowling partnership along with fellow West Indian Curtly Ambrose for several years. Walsh played 132 Tests and 205 ODIs for the West Indies and took 519 and 227 wickets respectively. He shared 421 Test wickets with Ambrose in 49 matches. He held the record of most Test wickets from 2000,after he broke the record of Kapil Dev. This record was later broken in 2004 by Shane Warne. He was the first bowler to reach 500 wickets in Test cricket. His autobiography is entitled "Heart of the Lion". Walsh was named one of the Wisden Cricketers of the Year in 1987. In October 2010,he was inducted into the ICC Cricket Hall of Fame. He was appointed as the Specialist Bowling Coach of Bangladesh Cricket Team in August 2016.

A highly skilled bowler,an aggressive batsman and an excellent fielder,he is widely considered to be cricket's greatest ever all-rounder and one of the greatest cricketers of all time.
Fidel Henderson Edwards is a Barbadian cricketer,who played all formats of the game. A pace bowler,his round-arm action is "not unlike" that of former fast bowler Jeff Thomson. Malcolm Denzil Marshall was a Barbadian cricketer. Primarily a fast bowler,Marshall is widely regarded as one of the greatest and one of the most accomplished fast bowlers of the modern era in Test cricket. He is often acknowledged as the greatest West Indian fast bowler of all time,and certainly one of the most complete fast bowlers the cricketing world ever saw. His Test bowling average of 20.94 is the best of anyone who has taken 200 or more wickets. He achieved his bowling success despite being,by the standards of other fast bowlers of his time,a short man –he stood at 180 cm,while most of the great quicks have been well above 183 cm and many great West Indian fast bowlers,such as Joel Garner,Curtly Ambrose,and Courtney Walsh,were 197 cm or above. He generated fearsome pace from his bowling action,with a dangerous bouncer. He also statistically went on to become the most successful Test match bowler of the 1980s with 235 wickets with an average of 18.47 within a time period of just five years. Marshall was a part of the West Indies team that reached the 1983 Cricket World Cup Final,but lost to India by 43 runs.
James Clive Adams OD is a former Jamaican cricketer,who represented the West Indies as player and captain during his career. He was a left-handed batsman,left-arm orthodox spin bowler and fielder,especially in the gully position. He was also an occasional wicketkeeper when required. He was the head coach of Kent County Cricket Club for five seasons between 2012 and October 2016.
Carl Llewelyn Hooper is a former Guyanese cricketer who captained the West Indies in Tests and ODIs. An all-rounder,he was a right-handed batsman and off-spin bowler,who came to prominence in the late 1980s in a side that included such players as Gordon Greenidge,Desmond Haynes,Malcolm Marshall and Courtney Walsh and represented the West Indies over a 16-year international career.

Ian David Russell Bradshaw is a former Barbadian cricketer who played for the West Indies cricket team as a left-arm fast bowler. A former West Indies under-19s and Barbados captain,he was a notable member of the West Indies team that won the 2004 Champions Trophy,being named man of the match in the tournament's final,and scored the winning boundary. Bradshaw eventually picked up 78 wickets for the Windies at an average of 29.47 from 62 ODIs.
George Nathaniel Francis was a West Indian cricketer who played in West Indies' first Test in their inaugural Test tour of England. He was a fast bowler of renowned pace and was notably successful on West Indies' non-Test playing tour of England in 1923,but he was probably past his peak by the time the West Indies were elevated to Test status. He was born in Trents,St. James,Barbados and died at Black Rock,Saint Michael,also in Barbados.

Kemar Andre Jamal Roach is a Barbadian international cricketer who plays for the West Indies in Test and One Day Internationals. As a 5-foot-8-inch (1.73 m) pacer,Roach initially reached speeds of over 90 mph on regular occasions. After some time he adapted his bowling style,due to injuries and diminshed pace,to encourage augmented swing and movement of the ball. He triumphly claimed the BBL02 title with the Brisbane Heat and was an essential part of the Surrey side which eventually won the 2022 County Championship title. During 2012 he became the first West Indies bowler to take 10 wickets in a Test since 2005. Roach has since picked up over 250 wickets in Tests and over 100 ODI wickets for the Windies. He has also featured for Barbados,Deccan Chargers,Worcestershire along with CPL teams Antigua Hawksbills,St Lucia Zouks and Jamaica Tallawahs in his cricketing career. Roach made history for the West Indies as he was the first West Indian bowler to take a hat-trick in a Cricket World Cup,which he did against the Netherlands during the 2011 tournament.
Kraigg Clairmonte Brathwaite is a Barbadian cricketer who captains the West Indies in Test cricket. He bats right-handed and occasionally bowls right arm off break. On 6 November 2011,he became only the second West Indian to score two Test fifties before his 19th birthday when he made 63 (212) against India in Delhi. He has also effectively stood as stand-in-captain in place of Jason Holder in seven test matches before becoming the permanent captain of the test team taking over from Holder. He idolises Shivnarine Chanderpaul and his batting style.
Miguel Lamar Cummins is a Barbadian cricketer who has played in 14 Test matches and 11 One Day Internationals (ODI) for the West Indies.
