The People's Choice Awards India was an awards show held on October 27, 2012, in Mumbai, India, [1] and which aired on Colors TV on November 25. An adaptation of the US version, the Indian edition is licensed and produced by Bulldog Media & Entertainment, [2] sponsored by Procter & Gamble, and the winners were voted on by the general public. [3]
The nomination categories are across four genres - Movies, TV, Music and Sports. The inclusion of a Sports Category with a Favourite Sportsperson award is unique to the Indian show.

Yash Raj Chopra was an Indian film director and film producer who worked in Hindi cinema. Dil To Pagal Hai, is a 1997 Indian Hindi-language musical romance film directed by Yash Chopra. The film follows the love lives of the members of a musical troupe, in which two dancers played by Madhuri Dixit and Karisma Kapoor get entangled in a love triangle with their choreographer played by Shah Rukh Khan, with Akshay Kumar as the childhood friend of Dixit's character.
