Adolfo Margarito Tapia Ibarra is a Mexican luchador enmascarado, who currently performs as L. A. Park for Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA) in Mexico and various other independent promotions in Mexico and the United States. He is best known throughout the world as La Parka, especially from his many years in the American World Championship Wrestling promotion. He has worked for every major and multiple minor wrestling promotion in Mexico, as well as participating on multiple wrestling tours in Japan. He is a three-time world heavyweight champion, having held the IWC World Heavyweight, IWC World Hardcore, and IWL World Heavyweight championships all once. He is also a two-time world tag team champion, having held the MLW World Tag Team Championship and the CMLL World Tag Team Championship each once.
Pedro Aguayo Ramírez was a Mexican professional wrestler and promoter who achieved fame in wrestling as Perro Aguayo Jr. or El Hijo del Perro Aguayo. He was the real-life son of lucha libre legend Perro Aguayo and not a storyline "Junior". Aguayo was best known as the leader of the Los Perros del Mal stable, which he started in Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) in mid-2004. The stable became a significant draw in Mexican professional wrestling, peaking during Aguayo's storyline rivalries with Místico and Héctor Garza. In October 2008, Aguayo left CMLL to start his own independent professional wrestling promotion Perros del Mal Producciones, built around members of his Los Perros del Mal stable. In June 2010, Aguayo returned to AAA after a seven-year absence to start an invasion storyline involving his stable.
Leonardo Carrera Gómez is a Mexican professional wrestler best known under the name Damián 666. He has worked for World Championship Wrestling (WCW), Frontier Martial-Arts Wrestling (FMW), Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL), Asistencia Asesoría y Administración (AAA), World Wrestling Association (WWA) and various promotions on the Mexican independent circuit, including Perros del Mal Producciones (PdM). Carrera also worked under the ring name Galaxy in WCW, a masked Luchador. Carrera often teams with Halloween, leading to the formation of the team "Mexico's Most Wanted", which has worked extensively in North America for such promotions as Xtreme Pro Wrestling (XPW) and Revolution Pro Wrestling (RPW). Carrera's son currently wrestles on the international independent circuit as Bestia 666.
Jerry Estrada is a semi-retired Mexican luchador. For most of his career, he has portrayed a rudo character, nicknamed "El Puma". His rudo persona was pattered on various Glam Rock bands, complete with colorful spandex and what was described as a "rock and roll" attitude in the ring. He was originally active from 1978 until 2003 when he was forced to retire due to chronic injures caused by his signature bumps outside the ring. Estrada began working select matches again in 2018.
Octagon is a Mexican luchador enmascarado better known as Octagón. He is best known for working for Asistencia Asesoría y Administración (AAA), having worked for the company since it was founded in 1992. In 2011 he was inducted into the promotion's Hall of Fame. Octagón formed a tag team with El Hijo Del Santo to take on Los Gringos Locos in a double mask versus hair match on the first pay-per-view put on by a Mexican wrestling promotion to air in the United States. Over the years the Octagón gimmick has spawned a Mascot called Octagoncito and an "Evil clone" known as Pentagón. In 2014, Escalera quit AAA.
Los Perros del Mal was a Mexican lucha libre wrestling group stable, originally competed in Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre and in Lucha Libre AAA World Wide (AAA). The name is a play on the name of the founder of the group, Perro Aguayo Jr. It was one of the main rudo (heel) stables in CMLL until October 2008, when Aguayo along with Mr. Águila and Damián 666 left the company to form Perros del Mal Producciones. The stable is a part of the new promotion, despite its namesake. Their motto is "Dios perdona, los Perros no". The group originally started under the name La Furia del Norte but evolved into Los Perros del Mal as wrestlers not from northern Mexico joined the group.
Triplemanía is an annual Lucha Libre event promoted by the Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA) promotion that is traditionally held in August each year. The name is a combination of how "AAA" is pronounced in Spanish, "Triple A", and WrestleMania, WWE's biggest annual show. It is the promotion's flagship event, featuring the culminations of several long-building storylines. Several events have been presented as a series of shows; either two or three per year.
Triplemanía III-A was the first of three parts of the third Triplemanía professional wrestling show series promoted by Asistencia Asesoría y Administración (AAA). 1995 was second year to feature the "Triplemanía Series" of shows with 3, referred to as III-A, III-B and III-C. The show took place on June 10, 1995 in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico. The Main event featured a 13-wrestler Steel Cage Elimination match, Lucha de Apuestas "Mask vs. Mask" match featuring the "Mini-Estrellas" division. The participants included Ninjita, Espectrito I, Espectrito II, Jerrito Estrada, Fuercita Guerrera, Mascarita Sagrada, Mini Calo, Octagoncito, La Parkita, Payasito Rojo, Payasito Azul, Super Muñequito, and Torerito. This marked the first and so far only time that the "Minis division" was featured in the main event of a Triplemanía. The show also featured the first of three Lucha de Apuestas, mask vs. mask match series for the Triplemanía III shows as the culmination of a storyline feud between the tecnico team of Super Caló and Winners against the Rudo team known as Los Diabolicos. Six of the eight matches were later shown on AAA's weekly Televisa show.
Triplemanía III-B was the second part of the third Triplemanía professional wrestling show promoted by Asistencia Asesoría y Administración (AAA). 1995 was second year to feature the "Triplemanía Series" of shows with 3, referred to as III-A, III-B and III-C, where this was the second of the series. The show took place on June 18, 1995 in Tonala, Mexico. The Main event featured a Best two out of three falls Lucha de Apuestas "Mask vs. Mask" match where both Winners and Marabunta put their mask on the line.
Triplemanía VI was the sixth Triplemanía professional wrestling show promoted by AAA. 1998 was the first year since 1993 to only feature one Triplemanía event. The show took place on June 7, 1998 at Gymnasio Manual Bernardo Aguirre in Chihuahua, Chihuahua, Mexico.
Triplemanía VII was the seventh Triplemanía professional wrestling show promoted by AAA. The show took place on June 11, 1999, in Madero, Mexico. The Main event featured a Six-man "Lucha Libre rules" tag team match between the teams of Perro Aguayo, Octagón and El Cobarde II and El Texano, Perro Aguayo Jr. and Sangre Chicana. In the semi-main event Heavy Metal and El Felino defended the hair of their father, referee Pepe "Tropi" Casas while Kick Boxer and Thai Boxer defended the hair of referee El Tirantes. As a result, El Tirantes had his hair shaved off after the match.
Jesús Alfonso Huerta Escoboza was a Mexican luchador enmascarado, or masked professional wrestler, better known as La Parka who worked for the Mexican professional wrestling promotion AAA from the mid-1990s until 2019. On January 11, 2020, Huerta died from complications arising from injuries that he sustained from a botched move during an October 2019 match.
Jesús Reyes González is a Mexican Luchador, or professional wrestler, best known under the ring name Máscara Año 2000 or Máscara Año Dos Mil. His ring name is Spanish for "Mask of the year 2000", originally referring to the mask Reyes wore while wrestling. Reyes was forced to unmask when he lost a Lucha de Apuesta to Perro Aguayo in 1993. Throughout his career Reyes has often teamed with his two brothers Carmelo, who wrestles as Cien Caras and the late Andrés, who wrestled as Universo 2000, the three were collectively known as Los Hermanos Dinamita or Los Capos when they teamed with Apolo Dantés. Reyes has earned the nickname "El Padre de más de 20" by wrestling commentators even though he does not quite have 20 children.
Edgar Luna Pozos is a Mexican luchador, or professional wrestler, best known under the ring name Electroshock, which he has used while working for the Mexican professional wrestling promotion Asistencia Asesoría y Administración (AAA) since 1997. Pozos is married to luchadora Lady Apache and is the brother of Luchador Charly Manson. As Electroshock Pozos has been a member of the groups Los Vipers, La Legión Extranjera and Los Wagnermaniacos. He is the winner of the 2009 Rey de Reyes tournament and a one-time AAA Mega Champion.
Triplemanía XVIII was a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by the AAA promotion that took place on June 6, 2010 at the Palacio de los Deportes in Mexico City, Mexico. The show featured eight with the main events being a "dream match" between L.A. Park and La Parka with the rights to the La Parka name on the line as well as Electroshock defending the AAA Mega Championship against Dr. Wagner Jr. The show also featured a performance by El Tri, a Mexican blues/hard rock band after the wrestling portion of the show was over. All four title matches of the event saw the championship change hands, the show also featured appearances of wrestlers from competing wrestling promotions International Wrestling Revolution Group and Los Perros del Mal. The main event between L.A. Park and La Parka originally saw L.A. Park pin La Parka. Later on it was announced that the result thrown out by the Mexico City Boxing and Wrestling Commission due to outside interference, ruling it a no-contest, but the decision was reversed the next day as AAA declared that L.A. Park had earned the rights to the name "La Parka" with his victory. However, three days later AAA announced that they would respect the Commission's decision and declared the match thrown out.
Juan Ebodio Gonzalez is a Mexican professional wrestler better known under the ring name Psicosis. Gonzalez was the second wrestler to work as Psicosis, given the ring character by Asistencia Asesoría y Administración (AAA) to replace the original Psicosis, and is often denoted Psicosis II. When Gonzalez left AAA in early 2009 he was briefly replaced by a third Psicosis. He was not referred to as "Psicosis II" on promotional material, instead the name is used to distinguish himself from the original Psicosis. In November 2013, Gonzalez was renamed Psyco Ripper and shortly thereafter Reapper.
Maniaco is a Mexican Luchador, or professional wrestler best known for being a part of the Asistencia Asesoría y Administración (AAA) group Los Vipers. He currently works for Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL), although the storyline portrays him as an outsider, part of Los Independientes. Maniaco is a former four time holder of the Mexican National Atómicos Championship along with Histeria, Mosco de la Merced II and Psicosis II.
Verano de Escándalo (2010) was a major professional wrestling event produced by AAA, which took place on August 14, 2010. It was originally scheduled to take place at Arena Monterrey in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico but due to Nuevo León suffering damage from Hurricane Alex the show was moved to Plaza de Toros la Concordia in Orizaba, Veracruz. The show was the 14th show promoted under the Verano de Escándalo name. The title is Spanish for "Summer of Scandal" and has been AAA's annual summer show since 1997. It featured a double main event with the first match being a three way match for the AAA Mega Championship with reigning champion Dr. Wagner Jr. successfully defending against his brother Silver King and Vampiro. The other main event is a "AAA vs. Perros del Mal" six man tag team match pitting AAA representatives La Parka, Cibernético and El Mesias against Perros Perro Aguayo Jr., L.A. Park and Damián 666 which Los Perros del Mal won when Perro Aguayo Jr. pinned El Mesias. The show also saw the AAA Reina de Reinas Championship change hands as Mari Apache won the title from Sexy Star.

The event took place on August 28, 2016, and was held in the Arena Ciudad de México in Mexico City, Mexico. The event Was the 24th year in a row that AAA had held a Triplemanía show, and was the 31st show held under the Triplemanía banner since 1993. The annual Triplemanía show is AAA's biggest show of the year, serving as the culmination of major storylines and feature wrestlers from all over the world competing in what has been described as AAA's version of WrestleMania or their Super Bowl event.
