Personal Fest was an Argentine music festival, held annually in Buenos Aires since 2004. It was named after its main sponsor, Personal. It was originally held in the neighborhood of Puerto Madero, and since 2006 was held at Club Ciudad de Buenos Aires. More than 55,000 persons attended in 2006 .
Acts appearing in 2004 included Massive Attack, Primal Scream, Blondie, Morrissey, Pet Shop Boys, PJ Harvey, The Mars Volta (featuring John Frusciante from the Red Hot Chili Peppers), Death in Vegas, rinôçérôse, Andy Smith, Electric Six, Goran Bregovic and others. Locals included Gustavo Cerati and others.
The 2005 festival included Duran Duran, who headlined the Saturday night performance. The Friday saw US pop-punk band Good Charlotte take the stage, followed by the legendary Scottish band Simple Minds. These edition also had performances by Macy Gray, Erykah Badu, The Crystal Method, Plastilina Mosh, Aterciopelados and others. Local bands Babasónicos, Catupecu Machu and Kevin Johansen were also featured.
The 2006 edition attracted approximately 55,000 people over two nights. Performances were divided between the Main Stage, the Personal Mania Stage and two smaller stages.
Acts performing this year included The Black Eyed Peas, New Order, Madness, Ian Brown, The Rasmus, The Bravery and Carlinhos Brown.
Argentinian acts included Arbol, La Portuaria, Emmanuel Horvilleur.
This edition, included Chris Cornell, Cypress Hill, Fischerspooner, Feist, CocoRosie, Datarock, Kid Koala, Calle 13, Happy Mondays, The Dandy Warhols, Cultura Profetica, Ed Motta, Gotan Project, Luis Alberto Spinetta, Monkey Business, Phoenix, Tego Calderón, Snoop Dogg, Los Cafres, Vicentico and Hot Chip.
This edition was held October 31 and November 1, 2008. Artists included Jesus & Mary Chain, Spiritualized, Bloc Party, The Offspring, Kaiser Chiefs, The Mars Volta, R.E.M. and many others.

After skipping a few years, Personal Fest is back for the 2011 edition to be held on October 2, November 4 and November 5, 2011. October 2 features Lenny Kravitz and Beto Cuevas. November 4 features The Strokes, Beady Eye, Goldfrapp, Broken Social Scene, White Lies and Toro y Moi. November 5 features INXS, Sonic Youth, Calle 13, Damian "Jr Gong" Marley, The Kills, La Mala Rodriguez and Francisca Valenzuela.
Morning Becomes Eclectic (MBE) is a three-hour adult album alternative radio program first aired in 1977 and broadcast live every weekday from KCRW in Santa Monica, California. The show's name is a play on the Eugene O'Neill trilogy of plays, Mourning Becomes Electra.
Plastilina Mosh are a Mexican electronic and alternative rock band formed in 1997. They are part of the musical movement known as Avanzada Regia. Jonás González is the lead singer and guitar player. Alejandro Rosso is more involved with the creative process, providing most of the instrumentation and occasional background vocals.
Estadio Luna Park is a multi-purpose arena in Buenos Aires. Located at the corner of Avenida Corrientes and Avenida Bouchard; in the San Nicolás neighborhood. Initially, the arena primarily hosted boxing and other sporting events. In the 1950s, it was expanded to host stage shows and concerts.
Calle 13 is a Puerto Rican alternative hip-hop band formed by stepbrothers Residente and Visitante, along with their half-sister iLe, also known as PG-13.
Sónar is a festival dedicated to music, creativity and technology, founded in Barcelona in 1994 by Ricard Robles, Enric Palau, and Sergi Caballero. The festival has been divided into two parts since its inception: Sónar by Day and Sónar by Night, with a three-day congress, Sónar+D dedicated to Creativity, Technology and Business running concurrently since 2013. The first season of Latin American Idol premiered on Sony Entertainment Television on July 12, 2006 and continued until October 27, 2006, when it was won by Venezuelan born Mayré Martínez. Auditions were held in Caracas, Bogotá, Mexico City, and Buenos Aires in the spring of 2006. The concerts started on August 30 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, the host country.
Interama is an Argentine rock band, formed in 1999, in Ituzaingó, Buenos Aires, Argentina although the present members are together since 2001. In 2007, drummer Mario Guzzi was replaced by Franco Italiano. The band was the result of the union of Electra and Limón, which had played during years in the underground circuit.
Quilmes Rock is a major Argentine rock festival, held annually from 2002 to 2004, and from 2007 on. It is named after its main sponsor, Cerveza Quilmes brewery. It was held in several venues in Buenos Aires, including the Ferro Stadium and River Plate Stadium.
Primavera Sound is an annual music festival held at the Parc del Fòrum in Barcelona, Spain, during late May and early June. It was founded in 2001 by Pablo Soler as "a showcase for Spanish noise bands", originally held at the Poble Espanyol before moving to the Parc del Fòrum, a much larger site on the seafront, in 2005. It is one of the largest and most-attended music festivals in Europe and the biggest in the Mediterranean.

Levitation is an annual 3-day music festival developed and produced by The Reverberation Appreciation Society. Since its sixth year in 2013 it has been held at Carson Creek Ranch in Austin, Texas. The event features some of the best of Latin America's most prominent talents. Pa'l Norte is considered to be one of the most popular music festivals within Latin America, and is one of the top-three most lucrative in México. As of 2022, the weekend brings the highest economic impact in the state of Nuevo León, making it a business hit for the state's tourism industry.
RockOut Fest is a music festival of different styles but mainly rock, born in São Paulo in 2008. After two versions there, the Chilean producer Transistor bought and exported the brand to Chile to do it October 9, 2010, at the Club Hípico in Santiago de Chile, with bands like Queens of the Stone Age, Incubus, Linkin Park and Pixies as headliners, as well as sideshows with Rage Against the Machine, The Mars Volta and Suicidal Tendencies. After the first successful release, a second version was released in 2011 with Faith No More, Megadeth, Alice In Chains, Down, Chris Cornell, Stone Temple Pilots, Snoop Dogg, Sonic Youth, Primus and Damian Marley This time as headliners on 12 and 13 November.
Fluff Fest is an independent hardcore punk festival held each July at the Czech town of Rokycany. A significant event for the DIY music scene of the Czech Republic and the punk subculture of Europe, it is associated with movements such as veganism, anarchism, feminism, anti-fascism, and straight edge. It features an international lineup of bands from diverse punk rock genres including hardcore, crust punk, emo, and grindcore, as well as talks and zines. Catering is provided by local animal rights organization Svoboda zvířat.

Nueva Ética is an Argentine metalcore band formed in Buenos Aires in 1998. They follow the vegan straight edge philosophy and are one of the first Latin American hardcore punk bands to tour the world. Nueva Ética's music has been described as a mix of Hatebreed and Terror.
