Morning Becomes Eclectic (MBE) is a three-hour adult album alternative radio program first aired in 1977 and broadcast live every weekday from KCRW in Santa Monica, California. The show's name is a play on the Eugene O'Neill trilogy of plays, Mourning Becomes Electra.

Sónar is a festival dedicated to music, creativity and technology, founded in Barcelona in 1994 by Ricard Robles, Enric Palau, and Sergi Caballero. The festival has been divided into two parts since its inception: Sónar by Day and Sónar by Night, with a three-day congress, Sónar+D dedicated to Creativity, Technology and Business running concurrently since 2013. As well as the flagship event in Barcelona, Sónar hosts events around the world, with annual festivals having taken place in Bogota, Buenos Aires, Hong Kong and Reykjavik. In 2023, editions are planned for Lisbon and Istanbul, as well as the 30th anniversary of the festival in Barcelona.
The first season of Latin American Idol premiered on Sony Entertainment Television on July 12, 2006 and continued until October 27, 2006, when it was won by Venezuelan born Mayré Martínez. Auditions were held in Caracas, Bogotá, Mexico City, and Buenos Aires in the spring of 2006. The concerts started on August 30 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, the host country.
Interama is an Argentine rock band, formed in 1999, in Ituzaingó, Buenos Aires, Argentina although the present members are together since 2001. In 2007, drummer Mario Guzzi was replaced by Franco Italiano. The band was the result of the union of Electra and Limón, which had played during years in the underground circuit.

Primavera Sound is an annual music festival held at the Parc del Fòrum in Barcelona, Spain, during late May and early June. It was founded in 2001 by Pablo Soler as "a showcase for Spanish noise bands", originally held at the Poble Espanyol before moving to the Parc del Fòrum, a much larger site on the seafront, in 2005. RockOut Fest is a music festival of different styles but mainly rock, born in São Paulo in 2008. After two versions there, the Chilean producer Transistor bought and exported the brand to Chile to do it October 9, 2010, at the Club Hípico in Santiago de Chile, with bands like Queens of the Stone Age, Incubus, Linkin Park and Pixies as headliners, as well as sideshows with Rage Against the Machine, The Mars Volta and Suicidal Tendencies. After the first successful release, a second version was released in 2011 with Faith No More, Megadeth, Alice In Chains, Down, Chris Cornell, Stone Temple Pilots, Snoop Dogg, Sonic Youth, Primus and Damian Marley This time as headliners on 12 and 13 November.
Fluff Fest is an independent hardcore punk festival held each July at the Czech town of Rokycany. A significant event for the DIY music scene of the Czech Republic and the punk subculture of Europe, it is associated with movements such as veganism, anarchism, feminism, anti-fascism, and straight edge. It features an international lineup of bands from diverse punk rock genres including hardcore, crust punk, emo, and grindcore, as well as talks and zines. Catering is provided by local animal rights organization Svoboda zvířat.
