Pete Podgorski (born December 1953) is a former amateur and professional - Junior Welterweight, Welterweight & light middleweight boxer, as well as a boxing official.

As an amateur, Podgorski compiled a 45-12 record, along with twenty knockouts. The 1972 C.Y.O. Catholic Youth Organization Welterweight Champion, 1973 Fox Valley, Wisconsin Golden Gloves Champion, and 1977 C.P.D. Chicago Park District Open division 156 lb. Champion also fought as a member of the United States national boxing teams. Occasionally nicknamed the "Polish Hammer" and "The Percentage Man", he is of Polish, Russian, Irish and French descent. Mothers last name was, La Montagne. [1] As a professional boxer, Podgorski compiled a 22-14 record with sixteen knockouts

Meldrick Taylor is an American former professional boxer who competed from 1984 to 2002. He is a two-weight world champion, having held the IBF junior welterweight title from 1988 to 1990, and the WBA welterweight title from 1991 to 1992. As an amateur, Taylor won a gold medal in the featherweight division at the 1984 Summer Olympics.

Sandro Lopopolo Italian boxer

Don Lane became interested after reading an article in the People magazine about this subject. Wheatley was a commentator on ESPN documentary - Ali The Greatest Of All Time with Kostya Tszyu, Joe Bugner, Jeff Fenech. Also on ESPN Speed and Power with Grantlee Kieza and Jeff Fenech. Wheatley was inducted into the Australian Boxing Hall Of Fame in 2012 along with Joe Bugner, Wally Taylor and Robbie Peden.

Dicky Eklund American boxer (born 1957)

Richard Eklund Jr. is an American former professional boxer who competed from 1975 to 1985. Known as "The Pride of Lowell", he held the USA New England welterweight title twice between 1979 and 1983. He is the half-brother and former trainer of former WBU champion Micky Ward. The 2010 biopic The Fighter is based on the two brothers' fall and rise to the boxing title.

Jan Zaveck Slovenian boxer

Patrick Majewski Polish boxer

Patrick Majewski is a retired Polish Americanprofessional boxer who was the NABF Middleweight professional boxing champion. He was the highest world ranked Polish boxer based in the United States along with former Heavyweight contender Tomasz Adamek during his career, and among the best known along with Polish American heavyweight Andrew Golota. Nicknamed 'The Machine', Majewski was a wrestler in high school who also excelled in Karate.
