Charles Peter David (born 1957) is a Grenadian politician. He is the Deputy General Secretary of the New National Party (NNP),(Grenada),a member of the House of Representatives from the Town of Saint George constituency,and served as Minister of Foreign Affairs from July 2008 to November 2010. He subsequently served as Minister of Tourism until he resigned from the Cabinet on April 30,2012.
David was elected to the House of Representatives as an NDC candidate from the Town of St. George in the November 2003 general election. The New National Party (NNP),the governing party,repeatedly went to court in attempts to prevent David from serving in Parliament,arguing that he is a citizen of Canada and thus ineligible,but these legal efforts by the NNP were rejected. In the general election held on July 8,2008,David was re-elected from the Town of St. George. [2] The NDC won a majority of seats in this election,and David became Minister of Tourism and Foreign Affairs in the new NDC Cabinet,led by Prime Minister Tillman Thomas,which was sworn in on July 13. [3]
David later joined the New National Party (NNP),becoming a government senator following that party's landslide victory in the 2013 general election. [4] After the NNP won another landslide victory in the 2018 election,David was appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs. [5] Following a cabinet reshuffle two years later,his portfolio switched to Minister for Agriculture and Labour., [6] a position he held until NNP's loss at the polls in June,2022. [7]

Keith Claudius Mitchell is a Grenadian politician who served as Prime Minister of Grenada from 1995 to 2008 and from 2013 to 2022. He is the longest-serving Prime Minister in Grenadian history,holding the office for more than 22 years. He is currently leader of the New National Party (NNP) and has been the Leader of the Opposition in the House of Representatives of Grenada from 2008 to 2013,and again since 2022.

Ben Joseph Jones was a Grenadian politician. He was a lawyer before being elected to Parliament as a member of the New National Party in 1984. In 1984 he began serving as foreign minister in the government of his party's leader,Herbert Blaize. When Blaize died in December 1989,Jones became prime minister of Grenada. He served until March 1990,when his party lost elections. He also gave up his position as foreign minister at that time,but was reappointed later that year. The result was a landslide victory for the opposition Barbados Labour Party (BLP),which won all 30 seats in the House of Assembly,resulting in BLP leader Mia Mottley becoming the country's first female Prime Minister. The BLP's victory was the first time a party had won every seat in the House of Assembly.
