The Philippines men's national floorball team is the national floorball team of the Philippines and is organized by the Philippine Floorball Association.
The men's national team made their debut at the 2014 Southeast Asian Floorball Championships which was hosted in Singapore. [1] [2] The Philippines lost all its four games at its first tournament against the national teams of Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore. [3]
The Philippines participated in the inaugural 2017 Asia Oceania Floorball Confederation Tournament in Bangkok [4] with no prior victory in an international floorball match. [5] Their 4–3 win over China on July 1, 2017 in the continental tournament became their first victory in an international floorball match. [6] They planned to enter the qualifiers of the 2018 World Floorball Championships, [6] [5] but did not compete in the end.
The 2019 Asia Oceania Floorball Confederation Tournament was hosted at home in Biñan with the Philippines recruiting Filipinos with links to Sweden in a bid to improve their performance. [7] They finished bronze by beating South Korea in the third place play off. [8]
They entered the Asia-Oceania qualifiers for the 2020 World Floorball Championship but withdrew amidst concerns over the COVID-19 pandemic. [9] However, they were given a wildcard berth for the world championship following the withdrawal of Australia and Japan allowing them to participate in the tournament for the very first time. [10] They failed to progress to the first playoff round, losing to Estonia and Canada but managed to secure a win against Singapore. [11] [12] The Philippines won against the United States to advance to the 13th place playoff. [13] They lost to Thailand in penalties settling for 14th place. [14]
The Philippines qualified for the 2022 World Floorball Championship. Unlike the previous edition, they earned a berth through participating in the qualifiers. [15]
They would reach their first ever Southeast Asian Games final in the 2023 edition in Cambodia after sweeping all four games in the group stage against the host, Singapore and Thailand. [16] They lost to Thailand in the final to settle for silver which is also their first podium finish in the regional games. [17] [18]
The Philippines would qualify for the 2024 World Floorball Championship after finishing as finalists in the Asia Oceania qualifiers hosted at home in Pasig. [19] At the expense of Thailand they finished as champions of the qualification tournament. [20]
At the 2024 World Championship, the Philippines qualified for the 2025 World Games in Chengdu, China after it emerged as the sole Asia-Oceania team to advance to the playoff. [21]

The Asia Oceania Floorball Confederation (AOFC) is a floorball confederation consisting of 20 nations spanning across two continents, Asia and Oceania.
The 2009 Men's Asia Pacific Floorball Championships were the sixth such championships in men's floorball. They were held from March 25 to March 29, 2009 in Pyeongtaek, South Korea. All matches were played at the Lee Chung Gymnasium. Singapore came into the tournament as defending champions.
The 2010 Men's World Floorball Championships Qualifying rounds were the first such qualifiers for world championships in men's floorball. Four separate qualifying tournaments were played, with European qualifications between February 3 and February 6, 2010, in the cities of Babimost and Zbąszyń in Poland, as well as in the city of San Lorenzo de El Escorial in Spain.

The 2019 Men's Asia-Oceania Floorball Cup was a continental floorball tournament held in Biñan, Philippines from 7–12 July 2019. Matches was held at the Alonte Sports Arena.
The 2020 Badminton Asia Team Championships was the third edition of Badminton Asia Team Championships, staged at the Rizal Memorial Coliseum in Manila, Philippines, from 11 to 16 February 2020. This championships was organized by the Badminton Asia with Philippine Badminton Association as host organiser and sanctioned by the Badminton World Federation. This tournament served as the Asian qualifiers for the 2020 Thomas & Uber Cup in Denmark. Competitors could also accumulate points as part of qualification process for 2020 Summer Olympics badminton tournament in Tokyo. Indonesia and Japan were the defending champions on men's and women's category respectively. They both successfully defended their title.

The Philippines competed at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris from 26 July to 11 August 2024, celebrating the centenary of the team's debut in the same city. Filipino athletes have appeared in every edition of the Summer Olympic Games from 1924 onwards, except for Moscow 1980 when the nation was part of the American-led boycott.

The 2024 World Championship will once again feature 16 teams. 1 place were allocated to the hosts, Sweden. The remaining 15 places will be determined by a qualification process, in which entrants from among the other teams from the five IFF confederations will compete.
