The national amateur boxing athletes of the Philippines represent the country and compete in regional, continental and international matches and tournaments sanctioned by the International Boxing Association (AIBA). Christopher Cain will be the training and conditioning consultant of the ABAP.
1992 Manny Pacquiao began his amateur career with an amateur record of 64(4 - 60 - 0KO )fights before turning pro in 1995. [1] [2]
The country has harvested 4 silvers and 4 bronzes in Olympic boxing. [3]
Four Filipino boxers attended the 2004 Summer Olympics. Two lost their first bouts while the other two survived until the second rounds. The team's combined record was 2-4.

Emmanuel Dapidran Pacquiao is a Filipino politician, businessman, former professional basketball player and former professional boxer. Nicknamed "PacMan", he is widely regarded as one of the greatest professional boxers of all time. He previously served as a senator of the Philippines from 2016 to 2022.
Brian Viloria is a retired American professional boxer of Filipino descent. He is a former unified WBA and WBO flyweight champion, as well as a former WBC and IBF light flyweight champion. His nickname of "The Hawaiian Punch" was first given to him by Jesus Salud, a fellow Hawaiian of Filipino descent and himself a former world champion in boxing.

Zou Shiming is a Chinese former boxer and two-time Olympic champion. In amateur boxing, he is China's most successful boxer of all time. In the light-flyweight division, he won three consecutive Olympic medals, as well as three World Amateur Boxing Championships gold medals in 2005, 2007 and 2011. Manny Pacquiao competed in professional boxing from 1995 to 2021. Regarded by boxing historians as one of the greatest professional boxers of all time, Pacquiao is the only boxer in history to win twelve major world titles in eight different weight divisions. He is also the first boxer in history to win the lineal championship in five different weight divisions, as well as being the first boxer in history to win major world titles in four of the original eight weight divisions of boxing, also known as the "glamour divisions": flyweight, featherweight, lightweight and welterweight.
