William Irwin (born May 20, 1968, Niagara Falls, Ontario, nicknamed "Billy the Kid", is a retired Canadian amateur lightweight and professional light/light welter/welterweight boxer of the 1990s and 2000s who as an amateur won a bronze medal in the Boxing at the 1991 Pan American Games in Havana, Cuba, losing to eventual silver medal winner Patrice Brooks of the United States, represented Canada at the 1991 World Amateur Boxing Championships in Sydney, Australia losing to Julien Lorcy of France. He represented Canada at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona but was stopped in the second round of the lightweight division by Ronald Chavez of the Philippines.

Throughout his amateur sporting career, Bogere fought and trained under his personal coach and mentor Tommy Andersson for Angered Boxing Club in Göteborg before he later turned into professional in 2008.
Štefan Fernyák is a retired amateur Slovak freestyle wrestler, who competed in the men's lightweight and welterweight category. Fernyak claimed a bronze medal for the newly Slovak team in the 62-kg division at the 1993 European Wrestling Championships in Istanbul, Turkey, and later represented his nation Slovakia in two editions of the Olympic Games. Throughout his sporting career, Fernyak trained as part of the freestyle wrestling team for Dunajplavba Sports Club in Bratislava, under his longtime coach and mentor Ľubomir Lohyňa.
Anoushiravan Nourian is a retired amateur Iranian-born Australian boxer. He picked up a bronze medal in the welterweight at the 1994 Asian Games in Hiroshima, and also competed in two editions of the Olympic Games under different banners. Nourian's career had been overshadowed by a doping controversy in 2000, resulting to a ban from the Iranian boxing team at the Summer Olympics in Sydney and his emigration to Australia, where he later obtained a dual citizenship.
