Phyllobacterium catacumbae is a Gram-negative, aerobic, motile bacteria with a polar tuft of flagella in the genus Phyllobacterium . It was isolated from the tuff (a type of rock) walls of Saint Callixtus' catacomb in Rome, Italy. [3] [4]
