Physics, Math, and Astronomy Building [1] (abbreviated PMA; formerly known as Robert Lee Moore Hall or RLM) is a high rise building on the University of Texas at Austin campus, in the U.S. state of Texas. The building was completed in 1972, [2] and houses the astronomy, mathematics, and physics departments, [3] [4] as well as the Kuehne Physics Mathematics Astronomy Library. [5] [6]

The building was originally named Physics-Mathematics-Astronomy Building (PMA) but was renamed to Robert Lee Moore Hall in 1973, after mathematician Robert Lee Moore. [7] In 2016, students demanded the building be renamed because of Moore's racist treatment of African American students. [8] [9] On July 13, 2020, during the George Floyd protests, University Interim President Jay Hartzell announced that the building would be renamed once again to the Physics, Math and Astronomy Building. The McCombs School of Business is a business school at The University of Texas at Austin, a public research university in Austin, Texas. In addition to the main campus in Downtown Austin, McCombs offers classes outside Central Texas in Dallas, and Houston. The University of Texas at Austin was originally conceived in 1827 under an article in the Constitución de Coahuila y Texas to open a public university in the state of Texas. The Constitution of 1876 also called for the creation of a "university of the first class." Thus, they created "The University of Texas." Since the school's opening in 1883, the University of Texas has expanded greatly with the Austin institution remaining the flagship university of the University of Texas System. By the late 1990s, the University had the largest enrollment in the country and contained many of the country's top programs in the areas of law, architecture, film, engineering, and business.

The Cockrell School of Engineering is one of the eighteen colleges within the University of Texas at Austin. It has more than 8,000 students enrolled in eleven undergraduate and thirteen graduate programs. Annual research expenditures are over $267 million and the school has the fourth-largest number of faculty in the National Academy of Engineering.

It is considered one of the most novel ballparks ever conceived thanks to its location. There was a limestone cliff in the outfield that created havoc for outfielders and made baseball games exciting. It was replaced by UFCU Disch-Falk Field in 1975.
