Pind Ranjha is a small village located in Sargodha District, located 30 kilometers from Kot Momin M2 motorway interchange.
Sargodha District, is a district of Punjab, Pakistan. The capital of the district is Sargodha. It is an agricultural district, wheat, rice, and sugarcane being its main crops. The Sargodha district and region is also famous for citrus fruit including Kinnow, orange and lemon. The district has an area of 5,864 km2.
Kot Momin, is a town and Tehsil headquarters in Sargodha district,.Punjab, Pakistan. On June 21, 2003, chief minister of Punjab, Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi announced it as a Tehsil.Nawaz Sharif visited kot momin for the first time in 2010. Kot Momin is almost 40 Km away from Sargodha city. This place is most famous for citrus fruit and therefore is known as “The City Of Citrus". Major clans include Haral, Janjua, Garra, Mela, Arain, Gondal, Ranjha, Lak, Sindhu, Sheikh etc. After that day it is recognized as Kot Momin Tehsil of Sargodha district. Kot Momin is situated among various historical cities.
The M-2 motorway is a north–south motorway in Pakistan, connecting Rawalpindi/Islamabad to Lahore. The motorway is 375 km long and located entirely in Punjab. It passes through, Faizpur Pur, Kot Abdul Malik, Kala Shah Kaku, Sheikhupura, Khanqah Dogran, Kot Sarwar, Pindi Bhattian, Salem, Lilla, Kot Momin, Kallar Kahar, Balksar, Nila Dulha and Chakri before ending just outside the twin cities Rawalpindi and Islamabad. It was the first motorway built in South Asia. At Junction of M2 and M1 there is an interchange which on one side connect Islamabad/Rawalpindi through an expressway of 8 km long, and the new Islamabad international airport through the other side of junction. It then continues on to eventually become the M1 motorway linking the twin cities with Peshawar. The M-2 crosses the junction of the M4 at Pindi Bhattian. It is part of Pakistan's Motorway Network. The motorway is also a part of the Asian Highway AH1.
