Pontibacter mucosus is a halotolerant, Gram-negative and rod-shaped bacterium from the genus Pontibacter which has been isolated from hexachlorocyclohexane-contaminated pond sediments from Chinhat in Lucknow in India. [1] [3] [2] [4] [5]
