Insurgentes is the debut full-length solo album released by British musician and record producer Steven Wilson, known for being the founder and frontman of progressive rock band Porcupine Tree. The album was recorded all over the world in studios from Mexico City to Japan and Israel, between January and August 2008, and released in November 2008 as a special deluxe multi disc mail order version, with retail release to follow in February 2009. According to Wilson himself, the album contained "the most experimental song-based music [he had] made." The album is named after the Avenida de los Insurgentes, the longest avenue in Mexico City near which part of it was recorded.

VOTA is the second self-titled album by the Christian rock band VOTA, formerly known as Casting Pearls. The album was released as a digital download on November 11, 2008, and released as a physical CD on February 10, 2009. The band is able to give $40.00 USD to Food for the Hungry through a matching grant with US AID for every album sold from their online store and merchandise table on tour. Since the digital release of the album in November, the band has helped raise over $200,000 for the Food for the Hungry project in Kenya.

It is considered the second half of a two-piece project, being supplemented by Bieber's debut extended play My World (2009). Diamond Veil is the eighth studio album by Sweetbox with Jamie Pineda's second studio album. It was released on May 25, 2011, in Japan, and on June 3, 2011, in Korea. Loose Tapestries is an alternative music project consisting of Sergio Pizzorno (Kasabian), and comedian Noel Fielding. It was formed in 2012 to provide music for Noel Fielding's Luxury Comedy. Their first album, Loose Tapestries Presents the Luxury Comedy Tapes, was released on 2 March 2012 as a digital download, and made available as a very limited edition of 500 records for Record Store Day on 21 April 2012. Kasabian touring members Ben Kealey and Tim Carter also worked on the album, while some of the designing was handled by regular Kasabian collaborator Aitor Throup.

Baek Ye-rin, also credited as Yerin Baek, is a South Korean singer-songwriter. A former member of duo 15&, she debuted as a solo artist with the mini album Frank, in 2015. A singer-songwriter, Baek is credited with composing and writing the lyrics for the majority of her songs, often touching on personal topics and writing from real-life experiences.
