The Poplar River is a river in the Unorganized North part of Nipissing District in northeastern Ontario, Canada. [1] It is in the Great Lakes Basin.
The Poplar River begins at Poplar Lake in geographic Gladman Township [2] and flows 2 kilometres (1.2 mi) south to its mouth at Bear Lake in geographic Hammell Townwship. [3] Bear Lake flows via Tilden Lake, the Tomiko River, the Sturgeon River, Lake Nipissing and the French River to Georgian Bay on Lake Huron.
The Wolseley River is a river in Sudbury District and Nipissing District in Northeastern Ontario, Canada. The river begins at an unnamed lake in geographic Servos Township in the Unorganized North Part of Sudbury District, passes through the municipality of French River, then flows about 4 kilometres (2 mi) through the municipality of West Nipissing in Nipissing District to Wolseley Bay on the French River adjacent to the community of Wolseley Bay.

The outflow from Little Sucker Lake flows out at the south as a left tributary of the Jocko River, which flows via Ottawa River to the Saint Lawrence River. The lake is entirely within Jocko Rivers Provincial Park.
