The Power Unity Party is a Ghanaian political party. It received a provisional certificate from the Electoral Commission of Ghana in 2018. [1] It received its final certificate on 21 November 2019. [2] It did not field any candidate for the 2020 Ghanaian general election. The leader Eliahu Boateng, is a pastor by profession. [3]

The party's slogan is Sankofa. Sankofa in Twi means broadly to return to one's roots. The party's colours are red and gold. [1]

Provisional National Defence Council Coup détat

The Provisional National Defence Council (PNDC) was the name of the Ghanaian government after the People's National Party's elected government was overthrown by Jerry Rawlings, the former head of the Armed Forces Revolutionary Council, in a coup d'état on 31 December 1981. It remained in power until 7 January 1993. In a statement, Rawlings said that a "holy war" was necessary due to the PNP's failure to provide effective leadership and the collapse of the national economy and state services.

Nana Akufo-Addo President of Ghana

Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is a Ghanaian politician who is the incumbent president of Ghana. He has been in office since 7 January 2017. Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings

Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings is a Ghanaian politician who was the First Lady of Ghana from 4 June 1979 to 24 September 1979 and 31 December 1981 to 7 January 2001, both times under President Jerry John Rawlings. In 2016 she became the first woman to run for President of Ghana.

Progressive Peoples Party (Ghana)

Progressive People's Party (PPP) is a political party in Ghana. It was formed in 2012 by Paa Kwesi Nduom, the presidential candidate for the Convention People's Party in the 2008 general election. Freda Akosua Prempeh

Freda Akosua Oheneafrewo Prempeh is a Ghanaian politician, and Member of Parliament for Tano North Constituency in the Ahafo Region, Ghana. She's currently the Deputy Minister of Gender, Children and Social Protection, Ghana. She previously served as the Assembly member - "Assembly Woman" from 2002 to 2010 for the Lakoo Electoral Area of the La-Dadekotopo Constituency in the Greater Accra Region.

The The People's Destiny Party is a Ghanaian political party. It is one of the parties registered with the Electoral Commission of Ghana to contest elections. The party is not represented in the contest for President of Ghana in the 2020 Ghanaian general election. It's logo shows a white lamb on a circular background. The upper half of the circle is black and the lower half green. Below the circle is written the name of the party in capitals.
