Project New Gaza

Project New Gaza is a joint plan led by Husam al-Astal, leader of the Counter-Terrorism Strike Force, an Israeli-backed militant group in the Gaza Strip. Astal claims to have support from a variety of other anti-Hamas Gazan militias including the Popular Forces, the People's Army Northern Forces and the Popular Defense Forces.^[1]^[2]
