Pterocarpin is a pterocarpan found in the Fabaceae species Baphia nitida , Ononis viscosa subsp. breviflora, Pterocarpus spp., Sophora angustifolia , Sophora substrata and Swartzia madagascariensis . [1]

Kōwhai are small woody legume trees within the genus Sophora in the family Fabaceae that are native to New Zealand.
