Banepa, a municipality and historical town is a valley situated at about 1,500 m (4,900 ft) above sea level in central Nepal which is at about 25 kilometres (16 mi) east from Kathmandu. At the time of the 2011 Nepal census, it has a population of 55,528. The main attraction of Banepa is the temple of Chandeshwori, located approximately 1 km (0.62 mi) northeast of the town along the Rudramati River. The Dhaneshwor Temple is 1 km south of the town. Banepa is also known for its eight different temples of Lord Ganesh, Narayanthan, Bhimshenthan and eight different ponds.
The Gandaki River, also known as the Narayani and the Gandak, is one of the major rivers in Nepal and a left bank tributary of the Ganges in India. Its total catchment area amounts to 46,300 km2 (17,900 sq mi), most of it in Nepal. In the Nepal Himalayas, it is notable for its deep canyon. The basin also contains three mountains over 8,000 m (26,000 ft), namely Dhaulagiri, Manaslu and Annapurna I. Dhaulagiri is the highest point of the Gandaki basin.
Surkhet District is a district in Karnali Province of mid-western Nepal. Surkhet is the one of the ten districts of Karnali located about 600 kilometres (373 mi) west of the national capital Kathmandu. The district's area is 2,489 square kilometres (961 sq mi). It had 288,527 population in 2001 and 350,804 in 2011 which male comprised 169,461 and female 181,381. Its district headquarters, Birendranagar, is also the capital of Karnali Province.

Bhirkot is a village development committee in Tanahu District in the Gandaki Zone of central Nepal. At the time of the 2011 Nepal census it had a population of 5014 people living in 1146 individual households. It lies northwest of Baidi. It lies on a steep mountain top overlooking a deep valley in which the Kali River passes. The village contains a health camp.
Vyas (Byas), is a municipality of Tanahun District located in Gandaki Province in Nepal and incorporates the village Damauli, the district's headquarter, for which the municipality is also often referred to as Damauli. The municipality was established by merging the former Village development committee Damauli with several of its neighbors, the most recent merger being the one with Pokhari Bhanjyang in 2014. It lies on the bank of Madi Khola.
Deurali, Tanahu is a village development committee in Tanahu District in the Gandaki Zone of central Nepal. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 2910 people living in 44 individual households.
Ghansikuwa is a famous tourist destination in Tanahu District in the Gandaki Zone of Gandaki Province, Nepal. It is famous for a pond constructed by Ghansi, a local who worked as grass cutter. Bhanubhakta was inspired by the activity of the Ghanshi, so he has noticeably mentioned him in his creations. Today, you can see the statues of Bhanubhakta and Ghanshi, inside the park premises and the well preserved pond, left to the park. The cool air flowing from the nearby Chisaudi Khola and easy access to the place, has made the place an attractive travel destination during weekends.
Raipur (राइपुर) is part of Shuklagandaki Municipality in Tanahu District of Gandaki Province [Province No. 4], in central Nepal. The whole previous Raipur Village Development Committee is now included as the Ward No 11 of Shuklagandaki Municipality in March 2017. The head of the Raipur Ward No 11 is Dal Bahadur Thapa. According to the Population Census of 1991, it had a population of 4581 people living in 850 individual households. Raipur is situated in about 18 km west from Dulegaunda Town & about 20 km from Putalibazar of Syangja District. From this village Of the top part called Raipurkot, we can have a panoramic view of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri Macchapuchre Range in the north, green hills, fertile land in the river banks, terraces and many others places with seasonal fruits and vegetables. The lifestyle of people living in Raipur is simple, and the majority of them are farmers. Most of the people from Raipur are migrated to Dulegaunda, Belchautara, Dhorfridi, Pokhara, Syangja, Chitwan, Kathmandu and other urban areas. About 90% of youths of Raipur are at Third Countries and Gulf for unskilled and low skilled employments.. Recently the village is connected with the national grid of electricity network. Not all the areas of Raipur has good drinking water facilities. People, in the hillside such as Bishauna, Chilaunekhark, Baaspani (Gaunpahal), Thumkidada, Simleshwara, Samtari, Bangalekhola have to spend most of their morning time in collecting drinking water from pond.
Rupakot is a village development committee in Tanahu District in Gandaki Province of central Nepal. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 4765 people living in 937 individual households. The VDC has been merged with existing Bhanu village development committees(VDCs), Barbhanjyang village development committees (VDCs) Tanahunsur Village Development Committee, Purkot VDC, Mirlung VDC, Satiswara VDC, Risti VDC, Basantapur VDC and Chok Chisapani VDC on 19 September 2015 to form Bhanu Municipality.
Sunwal is a municipality in Parasi District. It lies in Western Development Region, Lumbini Zone. It was announced as a municipality on 2011 combining two neighboring Village Development Committees; Sunwal and Swathi; of the district. It is the urban core of a rapidly growing urban agglomerate in Nepal and it belongs to the State no.5 under new constitution.
Magarat is considered to be the place settled and inhabited by Magars, one of the largest indigenous ethnic groups of Nepal. It is a geographical cluster of Federal Republic of Nepal which existed in the modern territory of Nepal before the Unification of Nepal by Prithivi Narayan Shah. It extended from the Budhigandki River the West.
Shuklagandaki is a municipality located in Tanahu District of Gandaki Zone in the Western Development Region, Nepal. The municipality was formed on 18 May 2014. It was formed by merging three Village Development Committees: Dhorphirdi, Dulegaunda and Khairenitar. And further more Thaprek, Raipur and Phirphire VDC are merged on 5 March 2017.
Bhanu is a municipality of Tanahun District in Gandaki Zone of western Nepal. The municipality was established on 19 September 2015 by merging the existing Bhanu village development committee or VDC, Barbhanjyang VDCs, Rupakot (VDC), Tanahunsur Village Development Committee, Purkot VDC, Mirlung VDC, Satiswara VDC, Risti VDC, Basantapur VDC and Chok Chisapani VDC. The center of the municipality is established in former VDC Office of Bhanu. After merging the population of all of the VDCs, it had a total population of 46,179 according to 2011 Nepal census. After the government decision the number of municipalities has reached 217 in Nepal. Nepali poet Bhanubhakta Acharya was born in Bhanu Municipality. It was named after him.
Krishna Chandra Nepali also known as Krishna Chandra Nepali Pokharel is a Nepalese politician and Chief Minister of Gandaki Province, a province in western Nepal. He was unanimously selected Parliamentary Party leader of Nepali Congress for Gandaki Province after potential CM candidate Pradip Poudel lost in his constituency with less than 100 vote's margin. Nepali is ex-member of NC central committee.
