Putrajaya, officially the Federal Territory of Putrajaya, is the administrative and judicial capital of Malaysia. The seat of the federal government of Malaysia was moved in 1999 from Kuala Lumpur to Putrajaya because of overcrowding and congestion in the former, whilst the seat of the judiciary of Malaysia was later moved to Putrajaya in 2003. Kuala Lumpur remains as Malaysia's national capital city per the constitution and is still the seat of the head of state and the national legislature, as well as being the country's commercial and financial centre.

The Seri Wawasan Bridge is one of the main bridges in the planned city Putrajaya, the new (2001) Malaysian federal territory and administrative centre. This futuristic asymmetric cable-stayed bridge with a forward-inclined pylon has a sailing ship appearance, accented at night with changeable color lighting. The bridge, also called Bridge No. 9, crosses Putrajaya Lake, an artificial lake made to provide natural cooling, and connects Precinct 2 on the Core Island, where the main government buildings are located, to the residential area of Precinct 8, 9.
The Seri Saujana Bridge is a main bridge in the planned city Putrajaya, the new (2001) Malaysian federal territory and administrative centre. The bridge's design is a unique combination of a symmetric cable-stayed structure and a through-arch bridge; the through-arch bridge portion is reminiscent of a slender version of the Sydney Harbour Bridge in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.

Perbadanan Putrajaya (PPj) or Putrajaya Corporation (PjC) is a local authority that administers the Federal Territory of Putrajaya and is under the Department of Federal Territories of Malaysia. Founded in 1995, the corporation is responsible for public health and sanitation, waste removal and management, capital planning, environmental protection and building control, social and economic development, and the general maintenance functions of the urban infrastructure of Putrajaya. The main headquarters of the PPj is located at Precinct 3, Persiaran Perdana, Putrajaya.
The Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin Mosque or the Iron Mosque is the second principal mosque in Putrajaya, Malaysia after Putra Mosque. It is located in Putrajaya's Precinct 3, opposite the Palace of Justice and next to Islamic Complex Putrajaya, a religious authority headquarters. Construction began since April 2004 and was fully completed on August 2009. It was officially opened by the 13th Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin on 11 June 2010.
Bandar Putra Permai is a rapidly developing new town in Seri Kembangan, Petaling District, Selangor, Malaysia. It encompasses areas from Taman Desaminium, Taman Equine, Taman Dato' Demang, Taman Suria Tropika, Taman Lestari Permai, Taman Prima Tropika, Alam Sanctuary, Taman Lestari Perdana, Pinggiran Putra, Pusat Bandar Putra Permai, Kota Perdana, Puncak Jalil and Taman Lestari Putra. Bandar Putra Permai is located near Seri Kembangan, Putrajaya and Puchong. Most of the residents are originally of Chinese descent, but an increasing number of Malays live there.
Putrajaya Street Circuit is a street circuit which was first used on 22 November 2014 during the second ePrix of Formula E. The start-and-finish straight runs on one of the major highways – Persiaran Perdana, or Putrajaya Boulevard – and just north of the circuit is the Perdana Putra housing the Prime Minister's Office. The track is 2.560 km (1.591 mi) in length and features 12 turns. It was designed by British architect Simon Gibbons, who brought experience of nine years with FOM as circuit planning manager and more recently played a significant role in the rowing and canoeing venue for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
