Blackmore's Night is a British-American neo-medieval folk rock band formed in 1997, consisting mainly of Ritchie Blackmore and Candice Night. Their lineup has seen many changes over the years; Blackmore and Night have been the only two constant members. They have released eleven studio albums. Their early releases were mostly acoustic and imitated early music, but eventually Blackmore's Night started using more electric guitars and other modern instruments, as well as performing folk-rearranged cover versions of pop and rock songs.
Falling in Between is the twelfth studio album by American rock band, Toto. The album was released in February 2006 on the Italian label Frontiers Records, the band supporting the album with a world tour. It was the band's first studio release since Through the Looking Glass in 2002, the last one with lead vocalist Bobby Kimball and the only one with keyboardist/vocalist Greg Phillinganes. Phillinganes originally began playing with Toto as a touring replacement for David Paich, who had retired from the road. Another Porcaro brother, Steve, continues to work in the studio with the band, though he also retired from touring following the Fahrenheit album in 1987. Similarly, Lenny Castro has never been a member of the group, but has consistently contributed to their recordings since their first album in 1978. This is also the band's last studio album to feature bassist Mike Porcaro and drummer Simon Phillips; Porcaro retired from touring in the following year due to symptoms of ALS taking away the use of his hands and died in 2015. Phillips left the band in 2014 to focus on his solo career.
Another Star in the Sky is an album released by David Arkenstone. It was released in 1994 on the Narada label. It was a groundbreaking album because up until this point, a lot of new age music didn't have lyrics or even vocals. David was able to create an album that successfully combined the style of new age music with lyrics to match. The CD release was also one of the first CD Album releases to be mixed for Dolby ProLogic surround sound.
The Road Home, a live album released in 1995, is the fourteenth album overall by the rock group Heart. It chronicles a club performance in the "unplugged" style – but with strings – in their home city of Seattle. The setlist contains acoustic versions of many of the band's hits including "Alone", "Barracuda", and "Dreamboat Annie".
Elton John and Tim Rice's Aida is a 1999 concept album that contains songs from, but predates the main production of, the 2000 musical Aida.
Return of the Guardians is an album by David Arkenstone, released in 1996. It is the final album in a trilogy that includes In the Wake of the Wind and Quest of the Dream Warrior. The album is based on a fantasy story by Arkenstone and Mercedes Lackey that appears in the booklet. It revolves around the characters of Andolin from In the Wake of the Wind and Kyla from Quest of the Dream Warrior. The album also comes with a fold-out map of the world in which the story is set. Of note is the prominent violin in several tracks. Unlike the previous album in the series, there are no songs sung by Arkenstone.
Island is an instrumental album by David Arkenstone with Andrew White, released in 1989. It is a departure from Arkenstone's mostly electronic debut album Valley in the Clouds.
In the Wake of the Wind is an album by David Arkenstone, released in 1991. It is the first album in a trilogy that includes Quest of the Dream Warrior and Return of the Guardians. The music is based on a fantasy story contained in the booklet that tells of a strange wind called The Lion's Breath and a young man named Andolin who desires to vanquish it. This album contains some of Arkenstone's most evocative, varied, and sweeping compositions and arrangements, with frequent use of orchestral instruments. It reached #1 on the Billboard New Age chart and received a Grammy nomination. The track "Morning Sun on the Sails" is dedicated to Aaron Copland. Its first track, "Papillon ", plays once every twenty minutes in the loop of songs played at Innoventions Plaza at Walt Disney World's Epcot. The Glassmen Drum and Bugle Corps, from Toledo, Ohio performed arrangements of "Overture", "Morning Sun on the Sails", "The Lion's Breath", and "Sailing" as part of their 1993 field show for Drum Corps International, entitled, "A Voyage Through Imagination".
The Spirit of Olympia is an album by David Arkenstone and Kostia, with David Lanz, released in 1992. It is a celebration of the Olympic games and incorporates several musical styles from around the world.
Atlantis: A Symphonic Journey is an album by David Arkenstone, released in 2004. The album is based on the legend of the lost civilization of Atlantis. Once again Arkenstone combines elements of new age and world music with an orchestral, cinematic flair.
Music Inspired by Middle Earth is an album featuring David Arkenstone, released in 2001. The music is based on J.R.R. Tolkien's epic fantasy novel The Lord of the Rings. Even though it was released the same year as The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, it was not inspired by nor related to the film.
The Celtic Book of Days is an album by David Arkenstone, released in 1998. It is the first of two Celtic albums by Arkenstone, the other being Spirit of Ireland.
Flyer was the eleventh studio album released by singer-songwriter Nanci Griffith. Released in 1994, it contained 15 tracks, mostly of original material. It was nominated for the Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Folk Album at the 37th Annual Grammy Awards. The album had contributions from Peter Buck, Mark Knopfler, Emmylou Harris, Larry Mullen Jr., Adam Clayton, Adam Duritz, The Chieftains and the Indigo Girls.
So Damn Happy is the thirty-fifth studio album by American singer Aretha Franklin. Her first studio album in five years, it included the Grammy Award-winning track "Wonderful", the single co-written and produced by Ron "Amen-Ra" Lawrence, his very first project with the Queen of Soul was a grand slam. The album peaked at number 33 on the US Billboard 200 and number 11 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart, while reaching the top thirty of the Italian Albums Chart. Shortly after its release, Franklin left Arista after a stay of 23 years. She later announced plans to start her own Detroit-based record label, Aretha Records.

A Postcard from California is the debut solo studio album by American musician and co-founder of the Beach Boys, Al Jardine. For the album, Jardine recruited several music icons including his former Beach Boys bandmates. The album also contains several unreleased Beach Boys songs, including "Don't Fight the Sea" and "Lookin' Down the Coast".
X/The Name Of The Rose is a compilation album released by the hard rock band Ten. The double compact disc contains the debut Ten studio album X originally released in 1996 and the band's second album The Name of the Rose, along with a number of bonus tracks, which were only available on the band's Japanese exclusive EP, The Name of the Rose.
