R1SE was a Chinese idol boy band, formed by Tencent through the 2019 reality show Produce Camp 2019 on Tencent Video. The group consisted of 11 members: Zhou Zhennan, He Luoluo, Yan Xujia, Xia Zhiguang, Yao Chen, Zhai Xiaowen, Zhang Yanqi, Liu Ye, Ren Hao, Zhao Lei, Zhao Rang.
They made their debut on June 8, 2019 with the debut song "R.1.S.E". [1] R1SE is a time-limited boy group. The group officially disbanded on June 14, 2021, after two years of active promotion.
The band name, "R1SE" is the acronym for "Running", "Number 1", "Sun" and "Energy". The name also represents the will to improve and continue rising to become China's number one boy band. [2] Their name can be pronounced either as "R. One. S. E." (English: /ɑr, wʌn,ɛs,i/) or simply "RISE" (English: /ɹaɪz/).
R1SE was formed through the reality television show Produce Camp 2019 aired from April 6 to June 8, 2019. It was the second season of Produce 101 China. On the live broadcast of the finals, it was announced that Zhou Zhennan placed first, followed by He Luoluo, Yan Xujia, Xia Zhiguang, Yao Chen, Zhai Xiaowen, Zhang Yanqi, Liu Ye, Ren Hao, Zhao Lei and Zhao Rang respectively. [3] The center and leader position was given to the first-place winner, Zhou Zhennan. [4]
Most members are from different groups and companies before the show, from 8 June 2019 to 8 June 2021, all management rights are in the hand of Wajijiwa Entertainment.

Three Kingdoms is a 2010 Chinese television series based on the events in the late Eastern Han dynasty and the Three Kingdoms period. The plot is adapted from the 14th century historical novel Romance of the Three Kingdoms and other stories about the Three Kingdoms period. Directed by Gao Xixi, the series had a budget of over 160 million RMB and took five years of pre-production work. My Uncle Zhou Enlai is a 2016 Chinese historical biographical television series directed by Chen Li and written by Zhang Fachun, starring Sun Weimin as the Chinese premier Zhou Enlai. The series also features Huang Wei, Tang Guoqiang, Ma Xiaowei, Lu Qi, Wang Wufu, Yang Buting and Zhao Liqiang. Zhou Shen, also known as Charlie Zhou, is a Chinese singer known for his ethereal voice and wide vocal range, capable of singing soprano. He is best known for his song "Big Fish", which has won 8 awards. In November 2017, Zhou released his debut album Charlie's Debut Album, a co-creation with producer Gao Xiaosong, songwriter Yin Yue, and composer Qian Lei. X Nine is a Chinese boy group under Wajijiwa Entertainment. Consisting of eight members: Xiao Zhan, Gu Jiacheng, Wu Jiacheng, Peng Chuyue, Guo Zifan, Zhao Lei, Xia Zhiguang, and Yan Xujia, the group debuted on September 28, 2016 with their first single, "In Our Own Name". Produce Camp 2021, officially CHUANG 2021, was the fourth and final season of Produce 101 China, a Chinese idol survival show. The show brought 90 male trainees from different countries and agencies, to form an 11-member international boy group through global viewers' votes. The final 11 trainees debuted as INTO1.
Yan Xujia is a Chinese rapper, singer, songwriter, dancer and actor. In 2015, he participated the program X-fire and debut as a member of X Nine. Later, he participated in Produce Camp 2019, finished third and debut as a member of R1SE.
Zhai Xiaowen, is a Chinese singer and actor. He is known for his participation in the survival reality show Produce Camp 2019, where he finished in sixth place, and is a former member of the show's boy group R1SE. He is also known for his roles in Falling Into Your Smile and Sweet Teeth.
Zhou Keyu, also known by his English name Daniel Zhou, is an American born Chinese singer, dancer and actor. He is a former member of the Chinese boy group Into1, after placing 10th in the final episode of Produce Camp 2021. He is also a member of the Chinese boy group BEST. He made his solo debut with the single R.O.T.Y on March 1, 2021.
