Trinity Shye-Anne Brown 布朗诗蒽, (born 2 August 2002) known professionally as Shye, is a Singaporean singer-songwriter.

Biography

Shye was born and raised in Singapore to a Chinese-Singaporean mother and British father. [1] In 2018, at the age of 16, Shye won the Vans Musicians Wanted 2018 showcase with six of her original songs. [2] In 2020, Shye released her debut album, Days to Morning Glory. [3] This album won her the Best New Artist award at the Freshmusic Awards. [4]

In 2021, Shye participated in Singapore's annual National Day parade as one of the singers of its theme song, The Road Ahead. [5] She was nominated for Best Asian Creative Artist award at 12th Golden Indie Music Awards  [ zh ]. [6] In 2022, Shye won the Best New Act from Asia title at the NME Awards 2022. [7] [1] In 2023, Shye performed at the South by Southwest music festival. [8] [9] Shye would also participate in the Chinese televised music competition show, Youth π Plan  [ zh ] and entered its grand finals. [3] [9]

<i>Greatest Works of Art</i> 2022 studio album by Jay Chou

Greatest Works of Art is the fifteenth studio album by Taiwanese singer Jay Chou, released on 15 July 2022 by JVR Music. It is Chou's first album since his fourteenth studio album Jay Chou's Bedtime Stories and was preceded by six singles released from 2018 to 2022—"Waiting for You" with Gary Yang, "If You Don't Love Me, It's Fine", "Won't Cry" with Mayday vocalist Ashin, "Mojito", and the title track. The song "I Truly Believe" was released in 2019 as the theme for the 2019 Chinese action film Skyfire. The title track and "Still Wandering" also had music videos shot for them, which were released in July 2022.

Sobs is a Singaporean indie rock/pop band formed in 2017. The band comprises Celine Autumn on vocals, Jared Lim on lead guitar, and Raphael Ong on rhythm guitar. As a touring unit, Sobs consists of Autumn, Lim, Ong, and auxiliary members such as Zhang Bo on bass, Soffi Peters on synths, and Shaun Khiu on drums. The band shares members and collaborators with fellow Singaporean indie rock bands Subsonic Eye and Blush. Sobs have been described as a sunny oasis in the melancholy landscape of the indie music scene in Singapore.
