Rho-related BTB domain-containing protein 2 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the RHOBTB2 gene. [5] [6]
RHOBTB2 is a member of the evolutionarily-conserved RhoBTB subfamily of Rho GTPases. For background information on RhoBTBs, see RHOBTB1 (MIM 607351).[supplied by OMIM] [6]
Mutations affecting RHOBTB2 can cause epilepsy, learning difficulties and movement disorders. [7] [8] RHOBTB2-related disorders are autosomal dominant, meaning only one of the two copies of the gene needs to be mutated to cause disease. The mutations usually occur de novo – that is, as a new mutation occurring in the affected individual rather than having been inherited.
Rho guanine nucleotide exchange factor 6 is a protein that, in humans, is encoded by the ARHGEF6 gene.
Alsin is a protein that in humans is encoded by the ALS2 gene. ALS2 orthologs have been identified in all mammals for which complete genome data are available.
KIAA1967, also known as Deleted in Breast Cancer 1, is a protein which in humans is encoded by the KIAA1967 gene.
TRIO and F-actin-binding protein is a protein that in humans is encoded by the TRIOBP gene.
Trafficking kinesin-binding protein 1 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the TRAK1 gene.
Rho GTPase-activating protein 4 is an enzyme that in humans is encoded by the ARHGAP4 gene. It has been shown to regulate cell motility and axonal outgrowth in vitro.
Cullin-7 is a RING-E3 ligase protein that in humans is encoded by the CUL7 gene.
SLIT-ROBO Rho GTPase-activating protein 3 is an enzyme that in humans is encoded by the SRGAP3 gene.
Protein Jade-3 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the PHF16 gene.
KIAA0196 is a human gene. The product is a protein that is a component of the WASH complex, which regulates actin assembly on intracellular vesicles. Mutations in KIAA0196 are implicated in some forms of hereditary spastic paraplegia.
Zinc finger and BTB domain-containing protein 20 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the ZBTB20 gene.
Cell migration-inducing and hyaluronan-binding protein (CEMIP), formerly known as KIAA1199, is a protein that in humans is encoded by the CEMIP gene. CEMIP has been shown to bind hyaluronic acid and catalyze its depolymerization independently of CD44 and hyaluronidases. Such function has been also been validated in mice.
Uncharacterized protein KIAA1377 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the KIAA1377 gene. Also known as Cep126, the protein has been shown to localize to the centrosome. Furthermore, it is found at pericentriolar satellites and the base of the primary cilium. Depleting Cep126 leads to dispersion of pericentriolar satellites, in turn disrupting microtubule organization at the mitotic spindle.
Protein phosphatase 1F is an enzyme that in humans is encoded by the PPM1F gene.
Rho-related BTB domain-containing protein 1 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the RHOBTB1 gene.
rotein KIAA1219 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the RALGAPB gene.
The human ARHGEF10 gene encodes the protein Rho guanine nucleotide exchange factor 10.
Zinc finger and BTB domain-containing protein 40 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the ZBTB40 gene.
FYVE, RhoGEF and PH domain-containing protein 2 (FGD2), also known as zinc finger FYVE domain-containing protein 4 (ZFYVE4), is a protein that in humans is encoded by the FGD2 gene.
The Rho GTPase activating protein 31 is encoded in humans by the ARHGAP31 gene. It is a Cdc42/Rac1 GTPase regulator.
