Rachel Riddell (born September 5, 1984) is a Canadian water polo goaltender. She participated at the 2004 Summer Olympics. [1]
Riddell was a student at Loyola Marymount University, [2] and Concordia University.
She was part of the 4th place women's water polo team at the 2003 world championships in Barcelona, Spain. She was awarded best goalkeeper at the 2003 World Junior Championships in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, when the Canadian team won the gold medal.
Since 2003 Rachel Riddell has been a member of Canada's senior women's water polo team. At the 2005 Fina aquatic games, in Montreal, Canada, she won acclaim for her play in the bronze medal winning game for Canada. In 2006, she helped Canada win silver at the Commonwealth games in Melbourne, Australia.
Riddell was awarded best goalkeeper of the 2009 World Championships in Rome, Italy, when Canada won the silver medal.

Villa was named Female Water Polo Player of the Decade for 2000-2009 by the FINA Aquatics World Magazine. She is one of four female players who competed in water polo at four Olympics; and one of two female athletes who won four Olympic medals in water polo. She is a leading goalscorer in Olympic water polo history, with 31 goals. In 2018, she was inducted into the International Swimming Hall of Fame and the USA Water Polo Hall of Fame.
Nicolle Katherine Payne is an American water polo player. The goalkeeper was a member of the US teams that won the silver medal at the 2000 Sydney Olympics and the bronze medal at the 2004 Athens Olympics.

Elena Gigli is a female water polo goalkeeper from Italy, who won the gold medal with the Women's National Team at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, Greece. She was the top goalkeeper at the 2012 Olympics, with 56 saves. She also won silver medal in European championship in Belgrado in 2006. Her club team is Fiorentina Waterpolo Giotti (Italy) and she won the Len Champions Cup and Italian league in 2006/2007.
The Canada women's national water polo team represents Canada in women's international water polo competitions and friendly matches. Heleen ("Hellen") Aafje Boering is a retired water polo goalkeeper from the Netherlands. She made her debut for the Women's National Team in 1984, and was on the squad that won the silver medal at the first official World Championship in women's water polo in 1986.
Tara Campbell is a Canadian water polo player. She is a member of the Women's National Team that claimed the bronze medal at the 2005 World Aquatics Championships in Montreal, Quebec, and the silver medal at the 2009 World Aquatics Championships in Rome, Italy. She was a member of the Canada women's national water polo team, that claimed the silver medal at the 2007 Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Tara was also a member of the Canadian Junior National team that won the gold medal at 2003 World Junior Championships in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
Elizabeth Anne "Betsey" Armstrong is an American water polo goalkeeper, who won gold medals with the United States women's national water polo team at the 2012 Summer Olympics, 2007 and 2011 Pan American Games, and 2007 and 2009 world championships. She is a leading goalkeeper in Olympic water polo history, with 102 saves. Armstrong attended Huron High School in Ann Arbor and was a three-year letterwinner on her water polo team. She then went on to graduate from the University of Michigan in 2005, where she was the goalkeeper for the women's water polo team. Betsey graduated with a bachelor's degree in English language and Literature. She is currently the record holder at University of Michigan with 350 saves.
Jaime Elizabeth Komer is a former female water polo goalkeeper from the United States, who won the gold medal with the United States women's national water polo team at the 2007 World Championship and the 2007 Pan American Games, and a silver medal at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.
Merrill M. Moses is a United States Olympic silver medalist, three-time Olympian, and three-time Pan American Games gold medalist water polo goalkeeper. He played college water polo for Pepperdine University, where he was an All-American and helped lead the team to the 1997 NCAA Men's Water Polo Championship. Moses is now associate head coach in water polo at Pepperdine.
Denis Šefik is Serbian water polo player who played for VK Radnički. He represented the Serbia and Montenegro national team until 2006, Serbian national team until 2008 and since 2010, represents the Montenegrin national team.
Stefano Tempesti is an Italian water polo goalkeeper. He competed at five consecutive Olympics between 2000 and 2016 and won a silver medal in 2012 and a bronze in 2016. He is the second water polo goalkeeper to compete at five Olympics, after Spaniard Jesús Rollán. Tempesti was the top goalkeeper at the 2008 Olympics, with 83 saves. He was also the top goalkeeper at the 2012 Olympics, with 87 saves.

She was part of the American national team that won the gold medal at the 2015 World Aquatics Championships. In 2016, she became the first African-American woman to make the US Olympic team in water polo. She was part of the gold-medal winning 2016 and 2020 U.S. women's water polo Olympic teams.
